As someone born and raised in New York, I’m always on the hunt for a solid bagel spot and Curley’s Bagels caught my attention. It’s a grab and go place, but the inside is surprisingly beautiful and thoughtfully designed. Definitely more elevated than your average bagel shop.

When I walked in, I was impressed by the variety. They had tons of specialty bagels, options with avocado and eggs, and even gluten-free bagels, which is a great choice for anyone with dietary needs. I was tempted to try something creative, but I decided to stick with a classic: a sesame bagel with scallion cream cheese “my personal favorite”. Lol

The woman at the counter was super kind and helpful, and the overall vibe from the staff was warm and welcoming. Even though it was busy, my bagel was made quickly. I also grabbed a coffee, which had a nice bold, dark roast flavor. They offered oat milk, almond milk, and half and half something for everyone.

Biting into the bagel, it was everything I wanted: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and packed with generously spread scallion cream cheese full of flavor and fresh herbs. Honestly, it felt more like a luxury bagel experience than your typical deli stop.

I spent about $9 for a bagel and coffee, which is a bit on the higher side, but the quality made it worth it. Plus, it was within walking distance from my doctor’s office, so it felt like a great find in the neighborhood.

“Seriously the BEST bagels EVER!! We're from California and I grew up eating bagels and deli... there are no bagels that even compare to Utopia bagels.
Service was excellent, took a little while as it was SO busy but it was absolutely worth the wait!! Obviously amazing when locals are lined up out the door to get bagels.
We were waiting for our order and the nicest man with a New York accent asked our boys if they've ever had a fresh bagel out of the oven, we of course said No, and he gave them a fresh, hot bagel that was to die for!!
My only negative is that we don't have a Utopia bagels in California hahah! Let me know when you want to open one near me!🤩“

“Topping I liked the most was the tomato. They somehow got the tomato to be savory and taste/feel like an egg. Coming in second is the smoked salmon. I wouldn’t get the white fish since it’s too salty.

The place was spacious and the line moved quickly for a Sunday morning.

We went to this bagel place twice this trip just for that tomato. The first time the bagel was perfectly crispy, second time less so. I’d ask them to brown it a little more next time“

They’re the best in Queens & Brooklyn combined- but I’m trying to order via a delivery app and there’s no way for me to surpass the option of how toasted I want the bagels, and I don’t want them toasted period. I can’t write a note in saying I don’t want them toasted either, so I won’t be ordering via the app. I would just come get them but I’m home with Covid so I can’t. Please fix this on the delivery apps and add a non-toasted option so we can order again!“

“Clean, efficient bagel shop with many choices of bagels, sandwiches, spreads, desserts and coffees. My wife had the lunch special wrap while I had a salt bagel with low fat cream cheese, turkey and tomato. Both were excellent. The bagel was not hard, nor too chewy. Just right.“

“Everything was delicious. We hosted a Purim breakfast at our temple and everyone was so happy and full. I personally put in the order myself and everything from ordering to delivery was so smooth. We ordered large quantity of variety of bagels with all types of cream cheeses, salmon salad, white fish and tuna. Plus we got crepes with ricotta cheese which were Devine. I visited this place on the night before Labor Day. Even though it was late on a Sunday night before a holiday the place was bustling with delivery orders and dine-in customers.

Despite the busy atmosphere Qandeel was incredibly helpful and patiently answered all my questions, even encouraging me to ask as many as I needed.
She never showed any signs of frustration and efficiently handled her other tasks as well.

“Two days ago I stopped in for a big breakfast. Everything is cooker and prepared right infront of you, everything is clean and the staff there is ontop of getting to you right away.

The wait is normal considering this is a made to order spot and cooked with care.

We got a couple of sandwiches a side of homefries and pancakes that was straight out of this world.

You wonder how some places the breakfast has no taste, almost like it’s just generic bacon egg and cheese on a plain roll and you’re gone in under a minute.

This is not that!

The food here is delicious, the bread is on point, the grill and store is clean, they care about making the food perfect and it really shows. Hats off to them 10/10

Oh and a side note that sealed the deal is the Iced coffee comes with coffee ice cubes!“

“The bagels and coffee are almost always very good. Service is great. When I went recently they weren’t playing any music or had the TV on, a light was flickering, and it was very hot inside with no fan or AC. Hopefully this gets improved as well as the C grade Health Inspection.“

I figured I’ll go get a bagel and a drink. Well I walked in there, and there was all different types of pizza there there was a salad bar on the other side and then there was a bakery got a piece of pizza. “Broadway Bagel is good for a lot of things but it's better to tell you what its not good for because it's smaller. their pastrami, very chewy & fatty. I got a wrap & was horrible because I was fighting with the pastrami to bite off a piece & then getting fat in your mouth is disgusting. At times when I get a breakfast sandwich with bacon it's like that's when they choose to hide fatty bacon instead of giving you well cooked bacon. How does an establishment do that to their customers? The tuna wrap w/ French fries, I usually order but now they're adding lettuce when before it was onions & avocado now they're putting celery & adding lettuce. why did they mess with such a great sandwich? Certain staff I work with like their blueberry pancakes, homefries, BLT. But like I said too many times I bought a BLT & it was filled with a lot of fatty bacon. I look at my food before I eat it. They used to have different flavors of OJ, Mango/Pineapple, Strawberry/Banana/Orange, but now all they have is regular OJ. They're changing how they made stuff and they changed the working crew so all I can say is I mostly get breakfast. It's hit & Miss for a lot of things because I like my food the way anyone having a business should make the food for their customers; with love & as best as possible.“

Best bagels I ever had, very fresh. Sometimes the cream cheese on bagel order is a Lil cheap but it depends who is working . Sometimes you get a smear and sometimes you get what you pay for. Other then that they are good place to eat. It also has additional menu options besides bagels. Sandwiches & grill.“
