“Overall, my experience at Shadow 66, a charming French restaurant nestled in the picturesque town of Ghent, New York, just a short drive from Hudson, was exceptional. The moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the restaurant's elegant ambiance, adorned with historical artifacts and a beautifully restored 1966 Citroen DS. The attentive waitstaff was knowledgeable about the menu, although we were disappointed to learn about the specials only after ordering. The braised beef, which was cooked to perfection with a rich and savory sauce, was absolutely delicious. The combination of the delicious food, unique atmosphere, and impeccable service, aside from the oversight regarding specials, made Shadow 66 the ideal choice for my birthday celebration. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience in the Hudson Valley.“
