“Jason and team have always been consistent. I guess that's why the restaurant has been there for 25 years? Wife and I had the Boeuf Bourguignon and the Grilled Pork Chop. Both were excellent! “Had us drive 3+ hour for a tour of the venue to potentially have our wedding there when they fully knew that the facility was closing down. They didn’t divulge any of that to us and completely wasted our time. Led us completely astray when they could have been transparent and honest and saved us a weekend of traveling. Further, the woman we were supposed to meet with didnt even show up and the person we met with didnt know about wedding details and was completely off base with prior conversations we had. I would suggest looking else where as this place is clearly is between management companies and transitioning to other things.“
“Superior food. Our server, Jessica, was friendly, efficient, and knew the menu inside and out. Exceptional! She knew ingredients and preparation of each menu item which made our final choices easy. We had escargot (marvelous) Cesar salad and delicious steak. Will visit again.“
“I had lunch yesterday at Zinc, and it was delightful. The staff is very welcoming, which often is missing in today's world. The Pinot Grigio was super crisp, the best I've had in some time. I had a grilled gruyere sandwich with duck confit and caramelized onions. It was absolutely delicious--I'm heating up the second half for my lunch today because it was amply sized for two meals. They usually serve it with mixed greens, but I asked for bib lettuce instead, and they served me very fresh bib with a light, tasty dressing. I truly enjoyed every bite and sip of this meal. My companion had a burger, which he said was the best he's had in years--thick, juicy, and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere at Zinc is classy but not overly so, with lots of light and a choice of dining rooms. We drove an hour to get here, and it was worth every mile. Try it!!“
