Boices used to be the go to however now with the new bouge appearance it's got a vibe that seems to cater to the out of Towner's and not the working class neighborhood it's been in for over 112 years. The lack of dairy products at Boice Bros is mind boggling. When the chocolate milk was no longer available for milk shakes I was surprised but the day there was no milk for milkshakes at all? Come on do better! This is a generational business that is running from its roots to appease the crowd that found their way up the highway.

Such old-fashioned, soft ice cream with great prices! And, if you really want a bargain, purchase a 6 pack of ice cream sandwiches, prepackaged, and available within the actual dairy store!!!!!! It doesn't get much better than those! Yummy!!

Hands down one of the best ice cream spots I’ve been to! The flavors are incredible, the scoops are generous, and the staff is always warm and welcoming. I also tried one of their ice cream cakes — seriously next level. Perfect for birthdays or just because. Definitely a new favorite — I’ll be back for sure!

The place has had wonderful home made ice cream for years at a reasonable price. It is under new ownership and they have terrible service and the quality of the ice cream is gone. The kid who served me couldn’t understand what a sugar cone was, gave me a tiny serving, and for some bizarre reason she kept bringing my cone up to her hair/temple while she was scooping the ice cream from the tub! I checked for hair in my cone and was just grossed out! She couldn’t have been stingier for the $4.50 I paid for a “small” cone! Will never go back! Been going there for years. New ownership ruined the place.

this ice cream place changed me as a person. im not even trying to glaze them, when i tell you you’d never have an ice cream like this YOU WOULD NEVER. the quality is just so good. i get the peanut butter chocolate it’s absolutely perfect.

A local treasure. One of the last, if not the last, local creameries in the lower Hudson Valley. Delicious dairy products and their ice cream is the best I've had. Soft serve or hard, different hard serve specialties throughout the summer. And they are open year long, another bonus. Affordable, friendly and delicious. Take the family.
