Just not the same.. I can't put my finger on it.. Ice Cream doesn't have any zip to it..
Boices used to be the go to however now with the new bouge appearance it's got a vibe that seems to cater to the out of Towner's and not the working class neighborhood it's been in for over 112 years. The lack of dairy products at Boice Bros is mind boggling. When the chocolate milk was no longer available for milk shakes I was surprised but the day there was no milk for milkshakes at all? Boice’s is not what is used to be.
I ordered 2 cow pies for my brother-in-laws birthday (they used to be his favorite). I ordered in advance, they were not ready when I came to pick up. So that lead to soft ice cream going into a warm car on a hot day. When we cut into them, the toppings were pathetic. One wasn’t even made how I ordered it (zero cookie dough and the cookie crunches were more like sprinkles) and the other just had a few strawberries and a glob of fudge...read full review
