Exceptional meal with every dish hitting the mark. We were a party of 6, including 2 chefs and ordered everything on the menu with it being small plates, (except the sorbet lol). The trout rillettes, mushroom pate, chicory salad & duck cassole were the standouts for me, but you really can’t go wrong depending on preferences We can’t wait to go back.

What a great space and delicious meal. Came here on a Saturday around 7pm and there was a sign that said they were already booked for table seating walk-in’s, but bar seating would be available first come first serve; ending up waiting around 20-30 min which wasn’t too bad. Everything we had was delicious but the highlights were the charred cabbage, duck breast, and caramel apple cake. The seed crackers were almost too overpowering for the smoked trout.
They have got hospitality right! What an amazing experience from the moment we walked in, with the warm and genuine welcome from the host, to the moment we sat down, the bartender was just as lovely. We’re accustomed to NYC dining, and that’s where we felt we were. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the dishes were exceptional. I haven’t had a meal like this in quite some time and we’re so happy to have found a spot like this, especially just moving to the area - a place we’ll be coming back to regularly.

Absolutely delicious food — compliments to the chef and the entire kitchen team! The dishes were outstanding and full of flavor. I do think the service and atmosphere could be elevated to match the quality of the food, but overall, it was a wonderful experience. I’ll definitely be back!

This restaurant is SO GOOD!!! If you’re in this area you don’t want to miss out on this meal. We sat at the chefs counter and watched them make the meals and it was truly amazing. We got the bread with pate, butter, Gouda. We had the tomato carpaccio, carrots, chicory salad, shishito peppers as apps all 10/10. Mains we had the pork and gnocchi. Also 10/10!! With the ice cream as dessert because we were way too full for more!

It could be me not being a fan of the Smokey flavor the wood fire adds, but most of the wood fired food seems to have too pungent of a smoke flavor to enjoy thoroughly.
Seems a tad expensive for the portions you are given.
All in all, it’s got a good wine selection (although a little pricey) and a good vibe. If you go for food I would do the potato rosti and the carrots. Otherwise, maybe just go for the wine and the vibes.
