We hired Lekker for our wedding in Saugerties, NY. As a New Yorker, having good food at our wedding to keep our Brooklyn + Manhattanites happy was at the top of our list. Lekker did not disappoint. Our guests raved about the lobster rolls, strawberry shortcake, and more. Juan was wonderful about adjusting our menu to different food allergies and was patient and thoughtful through the whole planning process. 100% recommend!

Had an amazing experience with Lekker Catering - they provided food for our small film shoot over the course of the weekend, and my cast & crew were THRILLED with the food. They commented several times how delicious, healthy, and nutritious the food was, and that's important when you're working long hours on your feet. Lekker was able to accommodate several dietary restrictions and allergies over the course of many meals, no easy feat. WE WOUND UP HAVING TO ORDER PIZZA FOR MY CATERED EVENT. So, If you want your worst nightmare of booking a caterer and then have them show up over 4 hours late, not bring enough food or even the food you ordered, then this is the guy for you! I booked him for a birthday party for 80 people. They did not show up at the appointed time to begin prep and then the LIED TO ME throughout the day about when they would arrive and how long after their arrival before serving the guests. Per the 2 staff members who did show up (3 were supposed to be there per the contract) Juan double booked and/or thought the party was the following month. The food was beyond sub par: nacho cheese sauce from a can; 2 bags of store bought tortilla chips; greasy, soupy taco meat; inedible buffalo chicken. Juan did refund my entire cash deposit. The most baffling part was continuing to reassure me throughout the day that once they arrive that everything would be fine, that they had all the food I had ordered, and that they would serve it promptly after their arrival. The continual lying made a bad situation infinitely worse.
