The extremely underwhelming food quality and the remarkably poor value for money at this Kingston Greek eatery make it an incredibly frustrating destination for anyone who expects a fresh and authentic Mediterranean meal in the city. I spent a long time waiting for a simple gyro platter and I was really annoyed to find that the meat was remarkably dry and the overall portion size felt incredibly small given the high price point on the menu. I really felt like the management has no regard for basic culinary standards because the vegetables were remarkably wilted and the entire dish lacked the vibrant seasoning and the professional integrity that is usually associated with traditional Greek hospitality. The restaurant is located in a very convenient part of the neighborhood but the current focus of the team seems to be on moving through the day with as little effort as possible rather than maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for the local residents. I also noticed that the dining area was remarkably messy and the staff seemed quite dismissive when I asked for a simple refill which adds a layer of concern for anyone looking for a reputable and high quality dining experience. It is a shame because the concept of a local Greek spot is wonderful but the actual reality of the service is very stressful and lacks the basic reliability and the professional care you would expect from a modern food business. I would honestly suggest looking for a much more organized and flavorful Mediterranean restaurant elsewhere in the area if you want to ensure that your lunch is actually worth the investment and your health is respected. I will definitely not be returning here for any future meals because the combination of the poor hygiene and the lack of professional accountability is simply unacceptable for a modern establishment.

I have always ordered gyros from here but haven't ordered in awhile since moving to Catskill. I was in town and desired to order. First, when I called I thought I had called the wrong number because the lady who answered the phone just said hello and didn't acknowledge the name of the restaurant. My next disappointment came when I bit into the gyro. The bread was so hard and the meat seemed old. I was definitely disappointed! I have never had this experience in the past.
