Fantastic! The closest thing to eating in Greece that I've come across. Home made recipes, flavors, and hospitality you can only find in the Agean sea. I couldn't stop eating, that's when you know it's great.
I have always ordered gyros from here but haven't ordered in awhile since moving to Catskill. I was in town and desired to order. First, when I called I thought I had called the wrong number because the lady who answered the phone just said hello and didn't acknowledge the name of the restaurant. My next disappointment came when I bit into the gyro. The bread was so hard and the meat seemed old. I was definitely disappointed! I have never had this experience in the past.
I ordered the Mousaka. It was served with a greek salad and plenty of rice.
The mousaka was good, I enjoyed it!
The rice was fluffy, but just this side of plain white rice. A little more flavor would be appreciated.
The calamari was over cooked. Hard, not tough. I wouldn't order them again.
I was with my friend who ordered falafel, which also had salad, but barely ate any of it. She didn't say anything other than she was disappointed....
