This local spot has day time offering for all: coffees, local beer selection, book clubs, and events. They also host a unique program in which customers can buy books requested by prisoners. You can add a note, hand it to the staff, and they take care of the rest! Rough Draft is extremely community oriented and has created a welcoming place for all.
Visited in the Monday between Christmas and New Year's, and it was absolutely packed. I'm assuming that the date and the recent social media hype play a huge role in how busy it was. Although there appeared to be ample seating for a place of it's size, there were just as many standing and wandering as there were seated. Great space in a beautiful old building (pre-dating the country's founding), serving beer and coffee and selling books of all genres. Hope...
This place is amazing. We’ve been here probably ten times and the drinks (coffee and tea) are great every time. I love when they have special tea lattes, in particular. The inside has a great aura and is very cute. The hand pies are delicious. We always look forward to coming here!
