Extra special bakery with mouthwatering cookies and savory danishes. I was hoping to get a vegan slice of pie but they didnt have any. I hope they do in future. There were other great vegan options. The ginger molasses cookie was chewy and delish!!!

Great little bakery with friendly staff.
The 9am opening is un-bakery-like, so if you are like me and pass through bakeries between 7am and 8am, you are out of luck. But once in a while you'll wake up late and it will be convenient.
Thanks for the gluten-free options, and please open earlier!

Delicious pie! Was recommended to them from another local bakery that didn't make pies and they were definitely right about this place. Definitely a pie master. Didn't get to try their savory pie but if it's close to their sweet pies then they should be amazing.

I love Little Rye and their selection of vegan cookies and hand pies! We’ve enjoyed their baked goods at both their retail location and their booth at the Kingston Farmers Market. The ginger molasses cookie is my favorite! I also ordered a custom cherry pie that I still think about. Their physical location is tiny but extremely charming; you can see how much love is put into everything they do.

While for a slice of pie it is very expensive, the Salted Maple pie was one of, if not, the greatest slice of pie I have ever had. Highly recommend stopping in and seeing what they have.

Seriously some of the best savory pastries ive ever had! The staff is lovely, the cheddar croissant is to die for! The wide selection of items is very impressive. Their farmer's market stand is just as great for a quick Saturday bite (but you wont find their cheddar croissants there!)

Great little bakery. They were celebrating their two year anniversary with birthday cake cream filled croissant/pastry. Yes. It was incredible, but not overkill.

My new weekend spot!

I’ve never had a homemade pie, and Little Rye blew my mind with intensity in flavors from the Salted Maple Pie! I picked out a couple of savory and sweet pastries and when I tell you this is what dreams are made of, I’m not lying. It’s melt-in-your-mouth good. I felt like time slowed down when I took my first bite of the cheese filled croissant. Instantly closed my eyes and embraced that first bite of something I knew would last forever as the greatest food to ever eat. And then I tried the maple pie, and relived that moment, haha.

From the moment you walk into the shop, you’re automatically greeted with so much warmth from the staff, and delighted to see so many delicious pastries both savory and sweet! The decor is also incredibly warm and welcoming, which adds a touch to it all. It’s like being at your nana’s house on Sunday!

This shop is all of the feel good vibes you can imagine, and a welcoming part of the Kingston charm. So happy it’s here!

Hands down the most amazing baked goods you will ever have the pleasure to taste. Her crusts are supreme works of art and there are not words to adequately describe what she does with custards. Even something as wholesome as the quiche goes beyond what any quiche has previously dreamed to accomplish. I just ate a piece of this weeks blueberry crumble custard and my life improved about 1500%. No, I’m not exaggerating. It’s pure magic I tell you. But Don’t believe me. Go eat for yourself.
