5 Best Beer Bars near Lake George

“I've been here before in the summer, but never thought of stopping by during the winter. My son selected it for a birthday dinner and the whole family went. Was toasty warm because of how they closed it off from the Village Mall!Food was great and the beer menu was extensive. Our waitress was delightful and the service was excellent. We will definitely add this to our list of year-round destinations :-)“

“I literally cannot say enough good things about this place. I had reservations for me and a friend for my birthday but my friend got sick so I decided to sit at the bar instead of our reserved table. I have never felt so at home and welcomed in my 3 years of living upstate than I did tonight at Farmacy. They were engaging, had drink specials that were incredible, had amazing vegan options, were extremely attentive and down to earth. What an absolutely incredible place to eat. The atmosphere is literal perfection. 50/10 recommend to anyone and everyone.“

“Giving a huge shout out to “Chef Eric” at Sunnyside Par 3! Doing a Super job holding down the kitchen! Fine choices of specials, but my favorite are the wings and pizza made to perfection! 👍🏼 Par is a great place to wind down with super friendly bartenders (shout out to Lauren and Paigey 😘 awesome ladies) have a drink and order some wings and pizza to go! Definitely recommend The Par! Go get some enjoyable tasty food from Chef Eric! Thanks for a great and tasty experience! 😋“

“I LOVED the atmosphere of the place and that's what drew us in. We went with our 2 kids (4 and 6). It was quiet as we went earlier in the day which is why I must mention how long the food took to come out. The apps and kids meals came rather timely but the main course was LATE. My kids had completely eaten and were "done" before we even got our food. The food was good but not as good as the price point entails. My husband had the fried chicken sandwich and it was VERY good. I got the chicken breast which was also good. I just find it wasn't at the almost $30 price point level. Our waitress was ok but not always around. Again mentioned because there was 1 other table there at the time. We love a chef owned restaurant but didn't quite reach my expectations.“

“Great service and great atmosphere! I’ve only eaten here twice and both orders were takeout. The first time our group of 3 raved about the pizza so much (for what felt like months afterward) that I had to stop back in again recently when passing through the area. Unfortunately although the pizza was editable, it was really nothing but. Like every establishment, I’m sure it depends on the cook and I guess I just didn’t get quite as lucky last trip in. But, staff is always friendly and orders are always ready quick. Based on my first experience here, I would still recommend giving them a shot!“
