We thought he was the owner as he treats this place as if it were his own. The staff is great. We love this place!“

“Normally service is very good 5 stars, but this visit the girl was not friendly or helpful. She couldn’t remember what toast I ordered and the potatoes were soggy and when I said something about it, she just walked away when she could have offered a replacement. We asked for napkins and she brought them when she brought the check. We will have to stay with our regular server Mike next time.“

My brother and I are new to the area and we came across this place randomly… The owner is really nice and inviting he greeted us at the door with a nice smile on his face and throughout the duration of us being there he checked up on us to make sure we were satisfied with the service! Service was also very good!! Employees seemed really nice and authentic. The food was also amazing and came out fast! Definitely coming back here this place is now my new favorite restaurant!!“

“We ate here last night and it was really delicious! They offer you stewed chicken when you first sit down and it was so delicious!! I’ve never had that a diner before. Our waitress was very sweet and very Efficient. We didn’t have to wait very long for our food. The dinner specials come with a salad, a soup and a dessert, which is a great deal! The atmosphere is nice and the diner is very clean! If you’re looking for a great diner experience, I highly recommend!“

“As an Italian raised kid who has always stayed loyal to a pizzeria I would take a slice from D’matteos any time and day. There is a beautiful combination of ingredients that allows for the ability to make a crispy or soft slice depending on your preference, and most importantly the selection of toppings is unmatched and the quality of them is of the highest. Also, the balancing of the toppings is perfect to ensure you don’t feel too full to get through a slice but it also isn’t too little to where you don’t feel satisfied after eating. The Italian authenticity is exquisite and I will absolutely continue to support this family run pizzeria.“

“We were greeted with smiling faces and promptly seated. We both ordered patty melt sandwiches. Although we weren't asked how we wanted them cooked, they were cooked medium rare and were perfect! Ample sauted onions. Lovely dill pickle, fresh crunchy Cole slaw that tasted home made. Delicious coffee. The French fries were cooked crisp on the outside, fluffy on inside. The diner was clean. Chicken orzo soup came with the meal and had a full chicken flavor. Very satisfying meal at this diner!“

“We have come to the Heritage Diner multiple times and were never disappointed. I was surprised when I noticed that I'd not left a review. The inside has three sections all equally comfortable. We sat in the room to the right of the register. It was quiet and welcoming. Lucille, our server was patient and helpful in answering all our questions. She checked in with us without being overbearing. The food was fabulous! I haven't had a grilled cheese sandwich in years but they had a page in the menu with an assortment of options and pictures! I really enjoyed the creamy cheese and crispy toast. Plus, perfect fries. My husband’s salad was unique and delicious. Highly recommend the Heritage Diner.“
