One person working the bar and serving the dining area no problem with bartender/server food was not as good as I had heard. Food definitely came out hot and very expensive,

Their prices have gotten out of control. Lunch anywhere else is 30% cheaper

Food was delicious. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Went to dinner at 6pm, plenty of seating, very quiet.

Upon walking in, it becomes very evident that this establishment is not a fan favorite among locals. After being seated in a completely empty restaurant, we waited 10 minutes before our waiter decided to come. This boy must have thought this was a rush event for his fraternity because he talked to us like we were his fellow brothers. After apps arrived, it’s clear that they microwave food from restaurant depo and call it an “appetizer”. After barely getting that near frozen food down my throat, I tried to cleanse my mouth with my coke. Instead of being transported to my childhood of drinking Coca Cola with my family, my taste buds were met with what I assume sewer water tastes like. After my burger arrived, my teeth were now under assault as the buns of my burger were two cinder blocks. I quickly asked for the check which was the quickest part of the whole experience. Dining here has made me realize the importance of the name. The village idiot is not the friends we made along the way, it’s anyone who decides to eat here.

I have never had this experience before. These guys were running around taking orders giving menu's and this place was not busy at all!! Come on why are you running around?? I had to go get to go containers for myself. I asked one of the waiters but then he went behind the bar and was loading beers!! Are you serious!! Then we were waiting for our check and waiting and waiting!! Again I got up to ask for the check. Now mind you others got up to get their own menu's. Listen your food is not that great to begin with. Either you need waitresses to help these guys out or get some other help. It seriously was not that busy guys that we almost walked out. You would have never even noticed!! What's up with this place???

I'm a little lost how a burger cooked mid well ends up rare after a 30 minute wait from a server who sucked. I door get serving two dry chicken slivers on a pretzel is a great move ether. Fries are frozen overcooked bits to hell. We were done eating and continued to wait 1 hour plus. To find out the server was up front on his phone. Could not see us at all. The rest of the staff was having a part in the kitchen it sounded like. Mind you this was all by 7/9pm... Server left us with zero water and thought we were good no check no food just bad. Should probably close the location if you cant staff it. If you pay peanuts you get bad workers.

If ordering uber eats it doesn't say it's GF and you do have to select an app. The sever offered to make you a GF one and you hung up on her. The store can't refund you because the money goes to Uber then it goes to the restaurant.

I ordered Village idiot off of Uber Eats. I ordered a quesadilla, that’s description states “ in a gluten-free wrap…”. When the quesadilla came, it tasted very much like bread. I called the store and asked and they confirmed it was not gluten-free. The women I spoke to stated I had to select the option for gluten-free, which is not an option on Uber Eats. she did not offer me a refund, instead I had to ask and she said I would have to deal with Uber eats. Unsure how a restaurant can be this careless about food allergies hoping food and safety gets involved. thank you for getting a pregnant woman sick

Tuscan panini was good but the fries were bland and had no taste. Live music was too loud and wasn’t that great.

Went last Monday - no one there and still felt rushed- ordered the burger and beer special - barmaid asked if wanted anything on it - just lettuce ,pickle and tomato- should of told me that added an additional 10 bucks to my bill! Ladies room - no toilet seat in 1 bathroom no paper in other- no soap and hand dryer inop. Few beers and burger 40 bucks.

Kid-friendliness: A noisy sports bar with a separate dining area so the kids can be kids without disturbing anyone

Went in waited for 10 minutes before the girl noticed us
Only two waitresses tables were dirty
Food took forever to come out and no one came to the table to check on us I will not be returning here to spend my hard earned money they need more people
