First and last order. Locals rave about this place. I called & she put me on hold immediately. I ordered 2 lunch specials, sweet-and-sour chicken lunch special & general Taos chicken lunch special. She asked which soup? I asked do you have soda instead it’s 87° out today? She was annoyed and said no only soup. It was 18$ for lunch and it’s awful.
It’s served with pork fried rice, but there’s no pork in the rice. Not even a tiny piece. The rice is filled with onion chunks and bean sprouts, definitely NOT good. The general Taos isn’t spicy at all, not a single hot pepper flake.

Wild rice is one of those local Chinese restaurants where everybody in the neighborhood loves it and they think it's the best Chinese food in the world in reality it's your standard American Chinese food a little bit above average I would say. In that area there really aren't any better places

My favorite Chinese food place to visit while we're waiting on Taekwondo to finish. The young service person up front seems to still be in training, the food is always excellent, but the interior leaves something to be desired. I think it's more of a takeout than an eat in Chinese restaurant.

This is some of the best Chinese food on Long Island. Tonight we had the chicken and rice soup, general tso’s chicken and an egg roll. Everything was fresh, not greasy, and tasted like quality ingredients. The restaurant is always clean and it’s quick friendly service. Would highly recommend.
I was ordering from this place for many yrs I live walking distance I don't know what happened a week ago but they didn't deliver my order it sat for over a hr and a half came to me cold .went right in garbage .I called them they said sorry can't help you I will never order from them again they lost a good customer and great tipper thank you

This is most definitely a take out place. If you order on-line (advised) do call and let them know you just ordered. My first time ordering on-line I showed up to pick it up and it was clear they had never seen the order. Not sure what technology they use. However, the food quality more than made up for the “technical difficulties”. Very good food and service at the counter is very good.
