“My husband and I stopped by this sweet coffee shop for breakfast on our last day in Lake Placid. What a treat! Most excellent dark brew and breakfast sandwich. Scrambled eggs for $5? A bargain! Friendly staff and welcoming vibe. It was the best breakfast we had in our three days in the area.We will definitely return to Capisce when in the Lake Placid area!“

This is a cute, quaint place with a few stools overlooking the lake. They have limited snacks and pastries.

“We absolutely loved our stay! Bernadette was an incredible host — thoughtful, welcoming, and always making sure we had everything we needed. The stay itself felt like an experience: we spent time with the animals, walked by the river, and even got to learn a little bit about the juice-making process. The fresh juice was so healing, and the farm eggs were delicious. The property is stunning with beautiful views in every direction. It's perfectly located for hikes, water activities, or a trip into town. We stayed above a barn, which was such a unique and fun experience — the space was cozy and stylish, with wood details, big windows overlooking the farm, and a full kitchen that was more equipped than our own at home. There were several couches and beds — perfect for a family, though we loved it just as a couple. Great ambiance and climate control too! We also really enjoyed the local restaurants and fun activities like writing, shopping, and loom discovery. We’d come back in a heartbeat!“
