So good. Really good gluten free bun, beautiful view of Lake Placid, incredible service and DELICIOUS burgers. Got the black and blue and it changed my life. 10/10 would go again.

Cool brewery. Server was great. We had a few drinks and then dinner.
A busy, lively spot with a great atmosphere. The beer selection is excellent, with something for every taste, and the staff remained friendly and efficient despite how busy the place was. The location is perfect for taking in the energy of Lake Placid. Great food, great beer, and a fun place to relax after a day of exploring the Adirondacks.

Came here 3x this weekend being right next to our hotel. First night, food took an hour with basic bar food. It was a bit busy so gave it the benefit of the doubt, spent $160. Second day got takeout for my kids, tipped the bartender great. Came Back day 3, same bartender, ordered takeout with w a couple people in between soccer games. We ordered to go because we were tight on time. $80 check, tipped bartender $20. We left went outside and sat down to have a few bites at a table before we left. There was not a single person outside besides us, only 1 table eating inside, the manager came outside and kicked us out because its against policy to eat takeout at the tables. I get if there were tables waiting but not a soul in sight.
Poor practice, subpar bar food.
Horrible manager.
Absolutely bizarre experience.

I visited Lake Placid for the 1st time this weekend. This place was next to the Hotel I was staying at this past Friday (05/15/2026). Awesome atmosphere, great vibes, and the service was superb. Issac (not sure if that's how his name is spelled) hooked us up. Thanks bro! Highly recommended if you're in this town ๐ป

Great little tavern, made me feel like I was in an episode of cheers. Really good burger and they sell wine by half bottle.

Beautiful views from the balcony seating area. Local ownership shows in their care. My salad was so fresh and the dressing was great.

The food and service are great! We have been coming here for years. The location is good and we really enjoy the deck in warmer weather.

Super dark inside and extremely loud music. I got the burger and it was cooked medium as requested, but needed salt. I asked for a side salad instead of chips for an additional $2, and they charged me 75 cents for dressingโฆ.
Been coming here for well over 20 years and it should be your only stop when visiting Lake Placid. So many great memories created here over the years. Last visit was March 20th with multiple big events going on in town. Service upstairs and downstairs was on point even with as busy as it was. Staff has always been friendly and attentive. Food is always top notch and always creating new items while keeping some old classics. Start with dinner and drinks upstairs and finish off the night downstairs! Always a great time!

These places are a dime a dozen up here and can be hit or miss. This was a big miss for me. I've had the beer before and found it decent so wanted to try dinner. Granted it was quite busy however the hostess did something I've never experienced before. When we asked for a table for two she furrowed her brow and then basically told us to go to the bar and try and order food there. We asked again to be wait listed and clearly she had no interest in sitting a couple. Felt like if there were more of us we would have had an easier time. We tried the two bars but both were busy and no staff would acknowledge us so we left. Its a tourist town so this is pretty normal sadly but it makes the other places in town who do treat you well stand out.

3/20/26 first time here. Stopped in to buy some beer in cans to bring home.... Ended up staying for a beer and onion soup.
Megan (meegan) the bartender was wonderful. I had the barrel aged stout (can) and the onion soup (not traditional) was good too.
Got a four pack of a hazy for home.
Nice spot, dark and chill.
I hope to return soon.
