Lake Placid Pub & Brewery

We enjoyed dinner here a few weeks ago while on vacation in Lake Placid. Although we wished we could've sat outside, we at inside due to the busy evening. We both enjoyed our drinks and food and our waiter was very friendly.

Food was excellent and huge portions. Service was terrible!

Stopped in for the first time in 5 years. I don't ever remember the food being good, so they improved on that front. Got a cold sandwich with Burrata, a sliver of Prosciutto, and probably tomato pesto and arugula. It was fine, $20 for a sliver of Prosciutto isn't terrible by Lake Placid standards. The view is great though! And seeing those wooden coins come out brought me back! I'm back on team UBU again

Had lunch there today. Quick service, pleasant waitress, excellent food, and some of the best beer choices on the East Coast!!

Ordered a skirt steak sandwich that was clearly not skirt steak. They meat was more like a pot roast and we didn’t care for the flavor. French fries were good. Salad, while on the small side for 7.00 was good and the blue cheese dressing was my favorite!
My boyfriend got the funky friar beer and said decent.
Server was friendly, service was average.

I had arrived here after a long drive from another area of the US, and really enjoyed my experience. The servers were super accommodating and friendly even though I had arrived late. Zoran was super friendly and helped me get all of my food and appetizers. I got a burger and it was super tasty along with their super tasty fries and water. The atmosphere was nice and fun and I had a great time. Now I am ready to be big and strong for my iron man

We stopped at the Pub this afternoon and had a great experience! The food and beverages were very good but our server Max was amazing!! A few of us in our group have been servers for many years and appreciated his attentiveness, personality and sense of humor. We will be back to see him for sure

Not sure why this place has any negative reviews, we loved it! Bartenders were super friendly from the moment we walked in, offering us samples of a variety of beers as first time customers. Food was excellent, prices were reasonable, and atmosphere was warm. We had the poutine, the barbacoa grinder, and the jalapeno cheddar soup. Cute little merch store right outside. Would recommend to any Lake Placid visitor.

Went to the Lake Placid Pub and Brewery our first night in Lake Placid. My family is full of picky eaters, and they absolutely loved this place. How much you ask? We ate there again the next day. The food, atmosphere, and service was great. My kids love it so much they have been asking to go back to Lake Placid just to go to Lake Placid Pub and Brewery.

Sat at the bar there was good vibe. BBQ ribs were real good. Had a nice time

We had a fantastic experience on our first visit. The food was delicious—we had wings, poutine, the Bibb salad, and a burger, and everything was great. My husband orders burgers at most restaurants, and he said this was one of the best he’s ever had. He also really enjoyed the Hazy IPA, and I was happy to see they had non-alcoholic beer options. Our server, Max, was excellent—attentive, friendly, and very accommodating to our two small children.

Overall, it was an excellent experience, and Max made the entire visit exceptional.

The “Jumbo wings” are regular size wings, not worth $18 for 8 wings. Apparently we got the last burgers and wings. After ordering the server told the table next to us they were out of burgers, wings, chicken, nachos, and a few other things. Not sure if it’s because it’s peak fall foilage colors and they’ve been busy or due to lack of management with ordering supplies. It was a Sunday night and not busy at all, server never came around to refill our water. Would recommend somewhere else in the area.

Nice place, good location with ok view if you sit upstairs outside, food quality is just ok, a bit under my expectations, poutine fries are not that good, had much better ones. Burger is ok, steak as well nothing special. Prices are reasonable, beer is good for good price.
