Lake Placid Pub and Brewery has a lively atmosphere with a great selection of local ales and beers. My partner especially loved the guava mule — refreshing and well made. Drinks here are definitely the highlight. The food, however, was a bit of a letdown. The buffalo chicken pizza was disappointing- no pizza sauce- a few tiny pieces of chickenand while the salmon was fine, it was overdone and the gravy lacked flavor. Still, worth stopping by for the drinks and local brews, but...
We enjoyed dinner here a few weeks ago while on vacation in Lake Placid. Although we wished we could've sat outside, we at inside due to the busy evening. We both enjoyed our drinks and food and our waiter was very friendly.
Stopped in for the first time in 5 years. I don't ever remember the food being good, so they improved on that front. Got a cold sandwich with Burrata, a sliver of Prosciutto, and probably tomato pesto and arugula. It was fine, $20 for a sliver of Prosciutto isn't terrible by Lake Placid standards. The view is great though! And seeing those wooden coins come out brought me back! I'm back on team UBU again
