Went for early dinner on my motorcycle ride to Lake Placid.
Service was excellent and fast. My burger and fries were fresh and good. All that you can expect from a good burger. Nothing out of the ordinary but comfort food at its best.
The restaurant was clean and ambiance great.
Lisa G's is a staple in the Lake Placid area and their proximity to the Dam, make it really enjoyable on warmer days on their backyard terrasse.

The food itself was good—my husband had a delicious burrata sandwich, and I had a pizza that was perfectly fine. However, the service was a different story. Our server made us feel unwelcome right from the start. Even though we had a reservation, we were rushed through the entire meal as if we were inconveniencing them because other guests were waiting. I've been to many restaurants in the US and have never encountered such unwelcoming service.
