Great ambiance but unfortunately that's all I can honestly review as we were never greeted or met by a host to ever be taken to our table for our reservation. We waited about 15 minutes, didn't see a soul working on the dining floor to help us so we just left unfortunately. This was on Father's Day so it feels like someone should have been on the floor, able to seat us. I do hope to give this place a chance in the future because the rooftop bar is incredible and this place would be unstoppable in Lake Placid if their front of house was in better order.
Drove an hour and a half from my house to have sunday brunch here for my birthday, after making a reservation a week in advance, and when we arrived they told us that THEY WERE NOT OPEN!!!!!!!!! Thanks for ruining my birthday.
Food was not good. Service was great!
Our food was very disappointing. The chicken was so dry we could barely choke it down. My husband got the steak and was also disappointed. Our server was lovely but never came back to check on the food. Not worth the money. I've never written a negative review, that's how bad it was.
food was delicious, and service was pleasant
Absolutely terrible. I've been to lake placid for 30 years and I've never had a worse meal. The egg they served me was rancid. The service took forever and a strawberry in my wife's fruit cup had mold on it. The toast was puny and cold and the pancakes were average at best. Management offered only 10% for this repulsive experience. I would give zero stars if possible. Stay away! 👎🏾 🤢
The food is excellent. But the menu is limited, there could be more variety or something gastro pub such as Fish & Chips. Will come back though and very nice people.
Usually my 1st stop after getting settled in once I hit the placid area. Cocktails are awesome and food is great. Was here 2 weeks ago and looking to go back again.
Don’t be fooled by the beautiful photos on the website. Even with reservations well in advance - we were seated in the adjacent hotel breakfast cafe… my lobster bisque was served with a tea biscuit and the ribs were probably sitting under a heat lamp for an hour before being served. You are better off going to a local bar and getting a burger. The servers were nice people - but hospitality was new to them.
Marcy seems in the midst of an identity crisis. Photos on the website suggest "regional fine dining," but on the evening we were there the atmosphere was more like "local bar," with half-loaded patrons screaming at football on the TV, doing shots and taking selfies. With the various reflective surfaces, the din was considerable, and the bartender on duty didn't seem a bit bothered by the festivities. Add lighting that's too bright by half, and you have all the atmosphere of a highway rest stop, but with better wallpaper. To be fair, the food was fine. The burger, as other reviewers have noted, was quite good. Service was inattentive.

We had breakfast and it was amazing! The atmosphere was not quite as upscale as we had thought. It was very quaint and relaxed. Our breakfast was some of the best we've ever had. Would definitely recommend this as a stop if you're in the area.
Great place but limited hours and limited menu. Sometimes things that are on the limited menu they run out of.
We wanted to try this spot. The inside is beautiful and there was a live band that created the perfect atmosphere for a fun night for a couple drinks and food. I ordered the bean burger. It fell apart due to the bun being more of an English muffin, and was eaten with a fork and knife instead of being handheld. Our dip was brought out a little like warm, so we had to eat it very fast, but the chicken and waffles my husband ate was delicious he said. It wasn't a bad experience, but was pricey for what we received.
Chicken and waffles were so good. Got takeout to eat in our hotel room and unfortunately everything was served in plastic containers. This made it unappealing as far as presentation goes though I totally understand as they don’t have room service and things can’t be served on plates for takeout. A lot of items on the menu sounded really good and I would definitely recommend when in lake placid or staying at the hotel!

The space is beautiful, and the live music is very good. But the service is non-existent. We waited 45 minutes for our drinks, before we even were asked for our orders. Then it was another 45 minutes before we received them. All of the staff except the lone bartender were hanging out in the kitchen doing whatever, while a restaurant full of people looked around wondering where the servers were, and where their food and drinks were. When we wanted to leave, we had to ask the bartender to literally poke her head in the kitchen to get someone to help us. It's too bad, because the place is very nicely designed.
