Visited lake placid few weeks ago, was excited to eat here. As we entered the restaurant, the lady immediately said “we are full”, I asked if we could put our name down, she said “we don’t put names down, it’s a first come first serve”. Hate to say this but I suspected this was because we were brown - so I stepped outside and saw a couple walk in, they were seated immediately. I went back in to ask another lady if we could get a table, but the First Lady whispered to her, and we were denied again. Went next door to eat, had no problems at all

We stopped in. We were able to get a table outside with a beautiful view. People around us were being waited on. Someone brought us water and then no one came back. Very disappointed.

Called to potentially set up an event and was met with a manager that was dismissive and didn't even listen to us on what were looking to do. Poor customer service.

Fabulous patio with a view. Tasty food (we ate tapas style). Service beyond reproach. A lot of choices in that town - to save you the hunt. Go. ... If not for the patio alone ... sit at the bar for the vibe.

Stopped in for a couple drinks. I'll give the food 4 stars because it looked good and smelled ok. The service at the bar was about the least friendly I've experienced. No greetings, not even pretending they care. Then of course they talked about other patrons.Poor form people.
