We had the best meal of our trip here to celebrate a birthday. From the second we stepped in the door, we felt welcomed and prioritized. The wait staff was attentive and answered any and all questions we had about the menu, including a wine pairing with our entrees. Everything we had was spectacular and you could tell that they truly care about their guest’s experience. Really an amazing experience all around!
We had the vegan bread pudding and vegan Moroccan stew. Both were delicious! Both were clearly marked on the menu. We are grateful for the attention to having well crafted vegan items available and changing on a regular basis. It seems many of Lake Placid’s better dinner establishments have eliminated vegan items - thank you for having them! We will be back!
I cannot possibly say enough nice things about Salt of the Earth Bistro. We chose it for our 40th anniversary dinner and wow did it deliver! The atmosphere is warm and inviting as are all of the staff. Our server was solicitous and knowledgeable. She was enormously helpful in selecting a wine that would compliment both the roast duck with Indian spices and the aromatic boar stew. And the food…oh my goodness!!! It was simply magnificent. The spices were perfectly balanced…flavorful...
