I have only gone to pick up and take out. Love the soups, and I still need to try some other deli counter items.

Best sandwich ever. Their most popular sandwich have a star next to them. I got the Haystack... It had maple syrup infused mayo!! It was incredible. Coolers had a great selection of deserts. I got the peanut butter pie. It was over the top amazing. If your in Lake Placid you HAVE to try this place.

Very good atmosphere here, and a lot of great sandwiches to choose from. Their bread was supposed to be the best part, so I ordered with the caramelized onion bread. It really wasn't all that amazing, but it did taste very fresh. If ya like a Balsamic vinaigrette then you'd like it. As for the rest of the sandwich, well... first things first: there's a big sign that says that you can make your own sandwich, add ingredients to any sandwich, or change anything in any way. I saw a good looking sandwich, and all I wanted to do was toss a little lettuce in there to bring out the undertones of the vinegar already in the sandwich. I asked if they have lettuce. The lady got real confused, asked three people if it were possible, and I never saw her again. Two minutes later a new person came out and finished the order. :( I never got lettuce.

Great soups, usually. Today I tried the split pea/ham, and the peas were not cooked. They were actually crunchy. Tried to call to speak to them about it, but line always busy.

The paper menu price differed from what I was charged. When I said they should honor the menu price, I got no satisfaction. The people were nice enough, but you need to honor paper menu prices. The pancakes were probably frozen. Not very appetizing. I will not come here again.

While staying in Lake Placid we discovered this place one morning and went back for breakfast everyday after that. We tried the omlet plate, breakfast sandwich, yogurt and granola bowl and oatmeal. All were delicious and reasonably priced.

We also tried the cookies and dessert bars. Yum

They have a good selection of sandwiches, but staff have zero customer service skills.. This may seem trivial, and not a good reason to not buy a sandwich there, but you never get a smile, a hello, or a thank you… There’s no indication that they even appreciate your patronage (and it’s not cheqp)!

Food was good but I’m disappointed at the same time. We got two sandwiches, paid 1$ extra for coleslaw and 1$ extra for two pickle slices. The coleslaw was the size of a shot glass (small side sauce containers), we only got one pickle out of two which is whatever but for 36$ I was surprised.
