The Boat Tasting Room

The server was wonderful!!! He had a nice personality, friendly and an asset to the place! His knowledge of all the products was amazing. We need more bartenders like him!! Next time I will have to try their special hot chocolate but I would use real hot cocoa.

Absolutely wonderful food and drink. The cocktails are to die for. The real star of the show is Don, what an incredible host. Such a fun and welcoming environment. An absolute must go in Lake Placid!!!!

Popped in during a trip to lake placid and it was such a great little spot! Dog friendly, good spirits, cheese and wine for purchase and awesome service. Happy we stumbled upon The Boat!

Some of the amazing beers we have had in Lake Placid! One of the rare places where I have seen flights for beers, gins, wines and vodkas! Lived there Barrel aged bourbon and NEIPA. Also tried their Pumpkintini and loved it.

This place is a very nice place to stop with friends and chat. If you are lucky and get there on a day, Don is working. It's worth your while to ask him about the wines and other beverages. He is very personable and knowledgeable. Their is no food service. However, they do sell cheese and crackers to tide you over to your next meal.

I DO NOT recommend this tasting room. I really wanted to like it here because we love going to breweries and trying different things. I went with my sister and my mother this past weekend and it was very busy. There were two older gentleman working and we understood that it would take some time which we were okay with. at one point one of the gentleman asked if we'd been waited on yet and I said no, but that I understood they were busy. However, after we were asked this (we were standing directly in front of the one man) him and the other gentleman proceeded to wait on 3 other groups of people that came in after my sister and I. I was so pissed off/disappointed that we decided to just leave. it's too bad because I would've loved to spend my money there, but felt very much like the whole experience was completely uncalled for.

Great place! Wonderful to chat with Richard and really enjoyed the flights on the boat! Highly recommend.

Stopped in for some beverages as we toured the town. A few Moscow mules and hung out at what once was a wooden boat is now their bar .. so cool

Service and drinks were first class. Was in town for a work retreat and we stopped in late afternoon and then ran back just before they closed. Bartender welcomed us back, closed the door and hung out with us. Looking forward to my next visit.

I first ran into The Boat Tasting Room to escape the rain, but quickly found it was a great place to hang out and enjoy a few! The selection of beers, wines, and spirits is great! The bartender that was working when we were in was so friendly! Stop in!
