Best food we’ve had in Lake Placid — hands down! This is our second trip to the area, and The Pickled Pig has officially earned a permanent spot on our yearly summer vacation tradition.
Kevin, our server, was absolutely amazing — super attentive and on top of everything that was supposed to come out with our order. He also gave some great recommendations off the menu, which made the experience even better.
We had the nachos with pulled pork and WOW — they were unreal! Loaded, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. If you’re in Lake Placid, don’t miss this place. Can’t wait to be back next year!

This place felt pretty disappointing. It seems like a cool spot with the great outdoor seating but it’s really just expensive cafeteria food with awful (and I do mean awful) country music blasting in the background.

Do your self a favor, never order the overpriced RIBS, there is not even S from smoke trace, and extremely dry meat! On the other hand CHEESEBURGERS are great, juicy and tasty, i would rather go with it like my wife and daughter this, but the ribs are big NO NO

Reached here on a summer midnight for the barbecue ribs - devoured them in silence within minutes. There are no adjectives in the English language that can adequately word this food experience. The staff also told us that the barbecue sauce was a secret family recipe! Just wow. Later, we sat out by the bonfire and basked in the glorious foodgasm that Pickled Pig presented us.

Can only judge the atmosphere. Every time I go, I sit at the pit. It's a nice place to end a day of corralling a drunken friend, or grabbing a bev yourself.

Was this place voted best wings because nowhere else makes wings? We ordered the mango habanero and it literally tasted like nothing, the ribs taste like they’re smothered in the spicy ketchup they keep on the table, and the Bloody Mary was one of the worst drinks I have ever had. Nothing else is open late around here but I’d rather go hungry than go back here.

Yummy in my tummy, as I was eating and asked how was the food I could only respond with “soooooo goooood”.
Nothing bad I could say about this place! If you’re looking for great quality BBQ with a nice casual feel this is the place! The portions were huge! The service was also incredible! A tad pricey but I think it’s worth it!! I’d recommend their tacos but my boyfriend got one of their speciality burgers and it was HUGE and he said full of flavor! Would come back especially since they are open super late!

I and compatriot and a great comrade of mine Nebojsa can safely say that this place has one of the finest food and drink options in town of Lake Placid. Service and beautiful smile of a bartender who made our night even more enjoyable with remarks of her's and Nebojsa's time at work. What a night !

Best burger I’ve had in a long time. Food came out fast and the waiter was always available and kept my drinks full. If I didn’t live 6 hours away I would come here often.
