Edit: the owner decided to answer in a rude and discriminatory way assuming I’m Pakistani when I’m not. I have lived here my whole life and am very well aware of what American delis serve as I have eaten non-halal before becoming Muslim. Your food has no flavor and the meat is chewy. But thanks for showing everyone your true colors. No wonder the deli looks dead inside - it’s obvious it won’t stay in business long, especially with that ugly attitude.

Got a chicken parmigiana sandwich and a Philly cheesesteak which cost altogether $30. The chicken parmigiana was bland but ok otherwise. Better than the Philly cheesesteak that was even more bland, chewy and was probably one of the worst ones I’ve had so far. We didn’t even finish it. We drove here from Bay Shore to try what is probably the only halal delis nearby and we drove away to eat it which is why we couldn’t tell staff our feedback.

My favorite Delhi so far, I don’t live close to it, but I would go out my way just to go to this deli, Food quality is amazing, Definitely will always be coming here

I’ve been going to Sachem Deli for a while now and it’s easily one of the most reliable spots around. The food is always fresh, portions are generous, and everything is made quick without cutting corners. Their sandwiches are stacked and actually taste like quality ingredients, not just filler.

The staff is friendly and keeps things moving, even when it gets busy. It has that classic local deli vibe where you can just walk in, grab what you need, and know it’s going to be good every time.

If you’re in the area and want a solid breakfast or lunch, this place doesn’t disappoint. Definitely one of those go-to spots you keep coming back to.

Absolutely fantastic sandwiches all around. I tried the pastrami, roast beef, and chicken meatball hot sandwiches, and every single one delivered. The pastrami was tender, perfectly seasoned, and piled high. The roast beef was juicy and flavorful, not dry at all. The chicken meatball sandwich was hot, comforting, and packed with rich, homemade taste. Fresh bread, generous portions, and great balance of flavors made this an easy win. You can tell real care goes into the food here. I’ll definitely be coming back

Found this spot on tiktok and had to google it because I never saw a halal sign before. Came in today they recently turned halal and could not be happier! Very close to my job so they will be seeing me more often! Tried the meatball parm sub and the bun kebab and both were really delicious! Also got some cold cuts to make sandwiches! Reasonable prices as well!
