“This place has multiple things inside one location. The restaurant inside, they are not very accommodating. I've ordered for a group of people for take out and they were so strict, didn't want to give plates or anything until the owner or management got involved.

While the food was good, they overprice everything. Probably will try other places next time before coming back to this.“

“My favorite place in the area, as the food is always fresh and delicious! The portions are huge and Sal and his staff are amazing; he can come up with anything even if it’s not listed on the menu. They get busy with lunch rush from the hospital and still manage to get everyone in and out. I highly recommend their spicy falafel gyro! My daughter loves their chopped salmon and her best friend is obsessed with the chopped cheese sandwiches. It gives NYC deli vibes. I come here for lunch every week and have yet to leave unsatisfied. They have vegan options as well and there is something for everyone here.“

“We were freezing after hiking in the area and wanted something spicy and filling. We've been meaning to come here for a while, and we are so happy we did. The food was unbelievably delicious! Everything was so fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff was incredibly kind and friendly and we really enjoyed meeting them! The interior of the restaurant is so clean and well-maintained. We're still sitting at the table after our meal, and already planning our return. Can't wait to come back!“

“Our lunch experience at this restaurant was a satisfying one. We dined with family. The place is simple with minimal decor and basic seating.
While we placed our order at the counter, the food was served at the table without much waiting.
The lamb shank over rice was very good so also the other dishes. Reasonable portions and quite authentic flavors made the dining special. Priced reasonably, one can enjoy a hearty meal for as little as $20.“

“Came into this place and was treated like a true queen. Was able to taste items I had never tried at no charge. Exceptional experience! Now I know what I would like larger portions of next time. Portion size was tremendous being that I was ordering for one. Extremely fresh ingredients that made my body feel instant healing as I ate. I was actually given a discount before she even knew I had a student ID; and was discounted even more after she found out I was student. Wide variety of drink options; including delicious sparkling water and yogurt drinks you wouldn't be able to get just anywhere. To top it all off you get to watch the chef preparing your food, which was an experience in itself. Watching the meat spin and drip while standing there will have your mouth watering. Recently, they've introduced some exciting new toppings, including the spicy feta, which is a must-try. The combination of flavors is outstanding, making each visit a delightful experience. If you haven’t been yet, you’re definitely missing out!“

“Got a steak egg and cheese bagel from there and it was very good. I liked how the egg was omelette style instead of the typical fried egg and it had lots of flavor. Good pricing as well, BEC are $5 and steak is 5.99. Beats the crappy egg sandwiches from Dunkin or Stewarts“

“Absolutely amazing! Troy Pizza and Gyro is hands down one of the best halal spots in the area. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Their gyros are loaded and juicy, the pizza has that perfect crispy crust, and everything tastes homemade and satisfying.

The negative reviews on here are just disheartening because the food is not as subpar as described nor is the service as bad as said. There is a very small staff of genuinely kind people and the food is always warm and fresh. It’s a lot of food for the price paid, we pay a lot more for subpar food at other places.

They have fresh spiced tea complimentary with any food order, which is very much needed on colder days like today!

With a fine-tuned focus on the authentic cuisine, the place is not as decorative as other restaurants. It may not be for everyone but it’s definitely a new cultural experience for those interested!

“I can't forget that Peshewari Naan and Bombay Aloo. Two awesome items with perfect balance of spice. They asked us the spice level we would prefer. This is something indian restaurants usually do not ask. Loved that part. Two other items were onion naan (was good) but the Mughlai chicken, something was off about it. It could be the balance of sweet or the salt was not right. I felt like I am eating a thik gravy. I believe the tea was over brewed and to balance it more milk was poured in. That's just an opinion as I know taste of tea is very subjective. Besides all of this the portion of one order was good for two. I think they are underrated by themselves. I would recommend them to change the whole seating arrangement. Also, update your restaurant name to Ahmed Restaurant. It was hard to find it.Spend $36 for two. (1. Mughlai Chicken came with choice of rice/Naan, Aloo Naan came with Rice/Naan)“

“Was staying with family in the area — they had been here before and were excited to bring us. Everything we ordered was delicious! We shared an appetizer combo which was great. I had the chicken vindaloo — it was very spicy, but hearty and delicious. We got 4 different naans — the aloo and garlic were my favorite. Excited to stop back in the future.“
