“The best people to deal with for my daughter's wedding! The prices are fair, the staff was friendly and efficient, and the food was amazing! We had a small miscommunication about silverware but the staff promptly took care of it. So appreciative of a business that comes through in the most chaotic of times! “Stopped by on the way back from Citizens Advocate appointment in the 'Burg. Didn't expect to find such an awesome little place to grab good food at good prices. Owner is an awesome guy who didn't mind my pops and I coming in early: stopped what he was doing and helped us out with half a Turkey Sub, Jalapeno Poppers, and a liter of Mountain Dew with a Gatorade ($21.00). For that price the service and food quality is excellent. Pops thought the Turkey Sub was delicious and I: the Jalapeno Poppers were fricking bomb. Can't beat the price, but the owner is super cool. Great guy and the best part of the place. Any who, if you stop by here, expect to be treated well service-wise and receive great food at an affordable cost. Thank you, man! “They recently started doing fish fry on Fridays. We had it last Friday and it was amazing! Mac & cheese was homemade as well as the coleslaw! Rolls were homemade from Tru North! Portions allowed for leftovers!”

“Every time we cross the border and visit Ogdensburg, we eagerly have a meal at this JRECK subs location.

I think our first visit was about 15 years ago and we have always liked the food.

On a recent visit in May 2026, we saw that the inside of the restaurant has been modernized. It was always clean and well-kept, but now, it is even nicer.

The staff have always been attentive.

And the food has always been a treat. The delicious steak and mushroom hot sub as well as the Italian sub always leave us satisfied. I also really love the deep-fried battered mushrooms and cauliflower side-dishes.

I know that locals eat there often. I am glad that the business has community support and I hope to eat there again very soon.”

So we got a sub and Mexican. Subs are always great but the Burrito and chips I got my Fiancé OMG. He’s a big foodie himself and he LOVED it. We will definitely be back for Mexican food I love it was made the way we want it like an assembly line just like the subs. For someone with onion allergies it’s a life saver to pick what you want in you Mexican food.”

“I’d really love to give Tim Hortons my business because I love their kettle chips. However the last 4 the last 4 ... 4 times. I ordered them and didn’t get them. Each time I stupidly didn’t check and each time I didn’t have time to go back. Finally decided to write a review over it... don’t order the kettle chips unless you don’t want kettle chips 😂”
