We were lucky to stopped in while traveling though the area. It's a fairly unassuming place but the food is very high quality and the prices are still much better than most other places. Chef Nick is a friendly guy who aims to please. He grows the vegetables on their property and apparently the meat is grass fed. Chicken tenders were hand breaded with nice seasoning and not loaded with batter. Overall it exceeds expectations in every way. I had to open Yelp and review them even though I didn't find them with Yelp.

Looking for a restaurant at the Herkimer exit and found this little gem. Sandwiches and a few salad offerings. We had the Bacon cheese burger, Reuben and shakes. Delicious. You can see all of the cooking from the counter. Everything was clean and tidy as well as the dining area and bathroom. Cute little park down the way, if you prefer to enjoy the sunshine.

My wife and went there for lunch, it was ok, I had their special galumpkis and mashed potatoes, I wasn't impressed, my wife had some kind of turkey wrap it wasn't anything special.

Great food; great service! Most all of the food is from owners garden. All homemade desserts too!

Upstanding food, G8 service. The Chili is life altering. The owner knows his stuff. Can't wait for this fall with the introduction of their meals menu.

Bonita doesn't just make sandwiches. She's a sandwich chef. That means she is an artist. A creator. And the sandwiches were delicious! Also, she'll tell you what you're gonna like, which bread is best, etc. You can stop at a fast food place, or venture a little off the highway and check out Little Falls, which has a cool riverside and big erie canal lock. And get such higher quality food for your journey.

rude not kind and swears at the customers very unprofessional

Everything feels like Bonita’s secret family recipe, especially the bean salad and squash soup ... and, well, a lot of their soups and chili’s. Love the small town feel as the owners are making the food right there in front of you and are the servers too! Love supporting this place!

Wonderful food and customer service! I call ahead as a delivery driver and it’s ready, no fuss. Love the bean salad and the price of it

I stopped by Little Falls during my hike on the Eerie Canal. Hands down best sandwiches. Both owners John & Bonita made us feel like we were at home. John recommended his homemade daily specials & Bonita recommended I also grab a jar of their homemade Corn Salsa. Happy I did I finished it in 2 days! The Butternut Squash soup was worth the visit alone as well. JUST TRY EVERYTHING Looking forward to my next visit to Little Falls so I can visit the Sandwich Chef again!

Atmosphere:Lunch pretty much ruined by a woman constantly yelling at her children. The children didn't seem to be the problem...People need to keep in mind that there are other diners in the restaurant and to be more respectful and not raise their voices to insane decibels. You are a GUEST of the establishment.Food:Veggie burger needed more spices; was literally a black bean burger. The potato salad was more mustard and pickle based (reminded me of a Dutch version my BIL's family does). My prior visit to this restaurant was actually more pleasant and tastier.
