We had Uber Eats deliver a wrap and a gyro sandwich. The gyro came as a French fry salad, with French fries, peppers, some meat and a lot of Tzatziki sauce all mixed together. It was a total mess. It was like a five year old made it.

Stopped in for a quick bite before hitting the driving range, and man, it was fire! Highly recommend this spot. The owner also seemed like a great guy.

Take out is always great. Healthy options have flavor and are reasonably priced. Personally recommend their Douglaston Salad as the quality and portion size has been consistently good for at least a decade.

On behalf of The Center for the Women of New York, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Aegea West Mediterranean Kitchen for their generous and delicious donation to our Taste of the World at Fort Totten gala.

They provided a large tray of Greek salad that was an absolute standout. The salad was incredibly fresh and vibrant, with crisp cucumbers, juicy tomatoes, crunchy peppers, and tangy Kalamata olives. The feta cheese was creamy and plentiful, and the homemade dressing was perfectly balanced with olive oil and oregano. It was a refreshing and healthy highlight that our guests truly appreciated.

It is because of wonderful local businesses like Aegea that we are able to successfully raise vital funds for our mission of supporting women in the New York community. Their commitment to giving back shows a genuine care for the people around them, and it is exactly the kind of business I want to support.

We ordered delivery from them a few times. We usually get the meal with souvlaki, gyro and greek salad. We think it is great food for a great price.

Just had a pork souvlaki stick from Aegea West in Douglaston — tender, juicy, and perfectly grilled with that classic char. I also tried the charcoal-grilled burger, and it was a sleeper hit — smoky, well-seasoned, and cooked over real fire, which you don’t find often at casual spots like this.

I got to chat with Mike, the owner, who’s been holding it down here for 21 years — a real accomplishment in such a tough industry. Coming from a family that ran a restaurant, I respect how much work and heart that takes. If you're in Douglaston and craving Greek comfort food or a great charcoal burger, Aegea West is a longtime neighborhood staple that deserves your support.
