Any town I visit, I try to find the popular ice cream spot. Was in Buffalo and found Lake Effect. Did not disappoint. Excellent ice cream, value for money. Nice staff. I had the whiskey and brown sugar and it was very unique superb. Will definitely visit again when I am in Buffalo. Go Patriots! (lol.. Had to rub that in..)
OMG! Delicious ice cream! I tasted a few, all were good. Decided on the Frozen Hot Chocolate and Black Sesame. The chocolate really does taste like a hot chocolate! The black sesame is so unique. Definite sesame flavor, sweet but not too sweet. Loved it! Sad I'm not a local. 🙁

One thing to be cared of is even is they seem to charge an extra 30 percent or so in fees, not sure if it was bc we used a credit card but their menu said $15 and we were charged $22 or there abouts. Maybe try cash to avoid the extra fees.
