Walked in with my family at 4pm on a Sunday. Stood there with 6 of us for a few minutes, no one greeted us.Finally got the attention of a staff member and asked to be seated. He asked me if we had a reservation, which we did not. The restaurant was maybe 20% full, at best.He said he’d have to talk to a manager, because they “were in between lunch and dinner. And there’s 2 menus.”Enough said. Our business was either not needed or wanted. We waked out and went to Piñons next door.

A cozy warm place to get a great breakfast, lunch or dinner. The service staff are always working very hard but still pleasant, helpful and accommodating

if you have children DO NOT GO to this restaurant. I am a frequent customer who has large bills often and was asked to leave because my child wasn't perfectly behaved (happy while coloring and having ice cream). Will not be returning

Great service ! I love the wooden style interior design of the restaurant. The ambience is calm, relaxing. I love the winter decoration they had in the middle. The food was top tier ! Extra crunchy breaded chicken cutlets. The salads are delicious, burgers ? One of the best. Will come back !

We live in LBNY and decided to go to the north shore for a change of scenery. We went to Buckram Stable Cafe. We made a great decision because the service was excellent. We ordered the Chicken Stabilizer which came with a huge salad and the clam chowder soup which was so delicious that we took an order of the soup home.

Was in the area, stopped in.,Interesting place, food was okay$$ the atmosphere was Ugh. " Yes James will you go get the car please? Sure thing Winthorp" the locals like the "locals" get my drift . At least the servers were friendly.
We have been eating at Buck's for years. It is our favorite local restaurant. The staff is always so kind and overly accommodating and the food is always delicious and consistent.

We gave this restaurant a shot for the first time, and well, the food was just okay, but it came with a hefty price tag. I ordered the 'Stabilizer Burger' medium-well, but it turned out as dry as a desert, and they practically drowned it in cheese! Although I'm not one to make a fuss about food, I decided to talk to the staff, and they were understanding. They happily removed the burger from my bill, which was a nice touch. Overall, the food didn't blow us away, but the staff and service were friendly.

A restaurant that's been a fixture of Locust Valley. It's feels more like a Deli than a restaurant. Food selection and taste are average, nothing to brag about. The place is pricey!Parking: 20
