“We hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner here and it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish! Danny was absolutely fantastic to work with—he was incredibly helpful, communicative, kind, and accommodating throughout the entire planning process. He made everything feel easy and stress-free, which meant so much to us during such a busy time.
The waitstaff was also wonderful—friendly, attentive, and welcoming—and the food was absolutely amazing. Our guests had a great time, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special occasion and kick off our wedding weekend.

“GET THE KALE CEASAR SALAD!!! I love their pizza but I go for the salad. This restaurant has such a great atmosphere and their menu is very accommodating. Everything on the menu is delicious and if you are strong enough to leave room for dessert, you will be extremely happy. Their cookie and their brownie come in a cast iron skillet and tase homemade and the ice cream and whipped cream make it even more delicious.”

“10/10 food and service. We came with a group of 7 not knowing how small the seating area was (especially for a large group). They kindly accommodated us by putting the tables together after the existing people finished. Then, the sashimi options were unique. The Hamachi with yuzu sauce was sooo good and like nothing I’ve tried before. We liked all the rolls we got. We got pan friend ramen for the kids and it came with a lot of vegetables which was nice.”

“Nice beach club that's part of a country club. They have a full service bar, dining room, and patio. The sand is pretty rocky though, which is typical of north shore beaches. If you're into this sort of thing you'll love it.”

“Food was teriffic as usual, however the special dessert banana bread pudding was off the charts. Best we ever had. Our server Dani was wonderful. She made the experience very memorable. She is an asset to the restaurant and we will ask for her every time we come.”

“We had a very enjoyable experience here on a Saturday afternoon. The store has a great atmosphere appropriate for a cheese shop.

We sampled three delicious cheeses in order to help decide on our purchase. They have an excellent selection and so hard to choose! Samantha was so sincerely friendly and eager to make our time there a pleasant one and not just a business transaction. We look forward to going back for lunch as they have a great selection of sandwiches with various cheeses.

We went yesterday and today made “elevated” grilled cheese sandwiches from one of our purchases yesterday. They came out as delicious as expected!”

“This is a classic deli in locust valley and they clearly run a really good operation here. Ive ordered many sandwiches from here and the quality is always supurb. Ive not had their prepared food yet, but it looks good. The staff is constantly busy, if they arent actively taking and making orders, they are cleaning, refacing products, organizing, stocking and preparing. Everything is clean and fresh and they constantly tend to their goods. Ive not seen a deli run so meticulously in my entire life. Delicious food, a higher price point but you pay for the quality.”

“Found this restaurant by accident on Friday and we love it! In fact, we went back Saturday for Churros and Sunday for dinner again. On Friday we had their Street Tacos and today we had their Tako Bowls! This may be a small place, but their flavors are not!! Amazing food and great portions! The entire staff from front and back of house are very friendly. So glad we found them and looking forward to going back! We HIGHLY recommend them!”

“Nice family restaurant. My first visit & taste of S. African french cuisine. Not too many place can offer good food at a reasonable price. This place does. Service was good. I had the Escargot & Tunisian Sausage. Both good. I like french food, but don't have it often since it's very rich. My hubby enjoyed the broiled Lamb chop. We shared the chocolate mousse torte. It was perfect, not too sweet. The flavors of the meal was spot on. Not overly salted, sweetened nor was there msg like most restaurants these days. Overall, I would go back & recommend this little gem. Our friend, long time patrons of La Baracka, had the AYCE lunch, which they enjoyed.”

“We came to Fosters for the fried chicken and it exceeded our expectations. We had the bread, broccolini Caesar and then the chicken. Everything was so fresh and different than anything we’ve had before. For dessert we had the famous banana foster which was OUTSTANDING! I also had the Call my hand Banana cocktail that was really delicious. Our server Casey was super sweet and attentive. Will be back again! Perfect date night spot. The atmosphere & decor was also great!”

“pass it every night on my way home from work. and decided to meet a friend there sat night. my parents come from Italy and I spent all my summers there as a kid. it is the closes I have ever had to pizza in Italy, my only very small complain is. I wish maybe a few more choices for apps.”

“AWESOME KOREAN RESTAURANT IN LONG ISLAND: I’m not a foodie and I don’t think I’ve ever posted about restaurants (but I am Korean) - I have to make an exception for this place. Yes, this restaurant is on Long Island, but the Korean food EXCELLENT (better than lots of places in Flushing) and service is OUTSTANDING. Every dish we’ve tried so far (짜장면, 순두부찌개, 육개장, 제육덮밥) has been so amazing, delicious, and authentic (especially the spices!!!). If you’re ever in the area, please stop in and eat here. It’s crazy awesome! Thanks to my friend for encouraging me to try at a Korean restaurant that is not in Queens. My family will be forever grateful - five stars and 2 thumbs way up from me and my family members. :)”

“We had an amazing experience at Dagim in Great Neck! We came to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and they truly went above and beyond to make the night feel special. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and the service made the entire experience even better.

“Very nice inviting decor. Service was just ok. The server was basic, didn’t tell us it was happy hour? Nor did she mention and food selections. For a new establishment I guess I was expecting a bit more … maybe ask if we had been there before? Check back to see how our food was( it was outstanding), we got more help from the water girl Had to ask to clear table. Had to ask for check from the water girl? The server had much support. Seems she took our order and disappeared. But the server assistants were on point. Dinner was really good. We will go back… because of the food. Even the manager walked pasted us a dozen times. There were 6 tables.. perfect time for manager to mingle… just saying. Place is very nice, great menu too. Just left feeling ignored. Nice music too. Maybe the server was having a bad day? Like I said we will go again !!! Great food.”

“The hostess tried to seat us in the empty private room in the back without offering a choice for the main dining area and we were forced object to this and were then seated on the floor. Based on the fact that both of our entre’s , filet, trout, were perfectly cooked and presented and delightful, a four star minimum is justified. Our side of brussels was undercooked and hard as rocks. The cocktails were perfectly done. No cheese cake after a steak? No coffee beans in the sambuca? The venue turned out to be a cut below. The pricing was fair in my opinion so on balance, an average dining experience overall. There are better options for sure.”
