“GET THE KALE CEASAR SALAD!!! I love their pizza but I go for the salad. This restaurant has such a great atmosphere and their menu is very accommodating. Everything on the menu is delicious and if you are strong enough to leave room for dessert, you will be extremely happy. Their cookie and their brownie come in a cast iron skillet and tase homemade and the ice cream and whipped cream make it even more delicious.”

“simply, just for the fact that you can order the famous Di Fara pizza from Brooklyn at this location, makes this certainly one of the best hidden gems in the neighborhood.
They also offer lots of different dishes from several different restaurants, making this a very interesting place to go for a meal as different. People can order different dishes from different restaurants.”

“I've lived in Locust Valley for a long time! And this past Friday I visited Karmic Grind for the first time. I had a small coffee and it was excellent! I will definitely go back real soon! I have to try some of their delicious pastries.”

“We regularly swing by the Brass Rail at the tail end of Thursday and/or Friday evenings of we need something quick, tasty and warm. Their food is always tasty and their drinks are great. We've had one issue with a weird cocktail over the course of our regular visits but invariably we are fans. The one caveat is it takes forever to get and pay the check when they get busy, to the point it takes longer to receive and pay for dinner than it does to get our entrees. But this place is a great destination and we are regulars for a reason.”

“We came across this little gem (that has been around for 13 years!) just today and this place single handedly just convinced us that we should move to this exact neighborhood haha!
We got two sandwiches, a pulled pork panini (basically a Cuban, yum!) and a chorizo with machego cheese and pear. They were both so delicious and I’ll be thinking about it for the next foreseeable days. Each sandwich order comes with chips but they’re not just any chips.. they’re TORRES chips! If you were to purchase these chips outside at the market, that itself is already $6 and the sandwiches are about $12-$16.. the value of this meal is HIGH! They use great quality cured meats and cheeses too.. I think we’re so used to being scammed in the city with the pricing we almost had a whiplash when they told us our total. LOL.
They also offer iced teas from any of the tea selections they have- very casually offering Harney & Sons.. I have no idea how she made the iced teas in less than two minutes but she did and it was perfect.
It seems like their specialty is charcuterie boards but they also offer frozen pasta and pints of icecream (they also serve icecream too, must go back for that), frozen food that’s ready to heat up and eat, unique jams, local pie and chocolates/ sweets.
This small business is family owned and operated- I believe the wonderful lady who helped us today was the owner and she was so sweet and welcoming.
We’re so excited to come back and try their other sandwiches and possibly order a charcuterie board for our next special occasion!”

“I have been eating an egg sandwich sandwiches on the North Shore of Long Island for over 20 years. This is by far one of the best Spots for egg sandwiches and half-and-half that I have come across in a long time the staff is amazing They’re always very polite and for the North Shore of Rhode Island. It is pretty fairly priced. All of their food has been good. I’ve yet to have a bad experience in the past five months and I haven’t been going there.”

“Found this restaurant by accident on Friday and we love it! In fact, we went back Saturday for Churros and Sunday for dinner again. On Friday we had their Street Tacos and today we had their Tako Bowls! This may be a small place, but their flavors are not!! Amazing food and great portions! The entire staff from front and back of house are very friendly. So glad we found them and looking forward to going back! We HIGHLY recommend them!”

The manager Michael then gave us the birthday special which was the song and celebration along with a comped meal for me (with ID). Amazing!”

“This place is amazing!!!! I went with my grandmarents for dinner and I orderd the Branzino Francese AND IT WAS DELICIOUS! The garlic linguine went beautifully with the lemon wine sauce and was filling too!

The sevice was fantasic as well, the waitress made sure our table was taken care of very well!

And dont even get me started on the ambiance! this is the perfect spot for a date night, family event, or even if your out with your friends!

“Met some out-of-town friends here on a Sat at 11a for brunch. The atmosphere is incredible, not very crowded, with lots of outdoors covered seating. I got the farmer’s omelette which was nothing special. However, the ceviche was outstanding and flavorful. I highly recommend. My wife got the Fennel Avocado salad and octopus appetizer. She loved both. She only wished the fennel pieces were cut in thirds. The portions are average in size and prices more akin to NYC than Rye. But overall we were happy.”

For a new establishment I guess I was expecting a bit more … maybe ask if we had been there before? Check back to see how our food was( it was outstanding), we got more help from the water girl Had to ask to clear table. Had to ask for check from the water girl? The server had much support. Seems she took our order and disappeared. But the server assistants were on point. Dinner was really good. We will go back… because of the food. Even the manager walked pasted us a dozen times. There were 6 tables.. perfect time for manager to mingle… just saying. Place is very nice, great menu too. Just left feeling ignored. Nice music too. Maybe the server was having a bad day? “Had an amazing dinner at Flora’s! We tried the Melanzane eggplant and the seasonal Red Snapper special, and both were absolutely outstanding. Nido gave us excellent recommendations and made sure we had a great experience. The food was delicious, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the owners were welcoming and attentive.
