Stuey's Smokehouse BBQ in Locust Valley is a barbecue lover's paradise! From the moment the Texas-style brisket was unwrapped before me, I knew I was in for a treat. Tender, peppery, and absolutely delicious! The BBQ sauce is a game-changer – peppery with a hint of red pepper heat, and a perfect balance of thickness and sweetness. Already planning my next visit. Food was amazing. We ordered the brisket sandwich, half chicken, corn bread, and sweet potatoes. Even my kid, who can be a picky eater, loved the food. Ambiance is cozy. We sat by the counter inside the restaurant. I believe there's outdoor seating, but we didn't have a chance to check it out. The service was also quick and the woman who took our order was super friendly.

I enjoyed my visit today. I ordered the lunch special (meat, side, cornbread) and chose brisket and sweet potato. The brisket had great flavor, though next time I'll ask for leaner pieces as mine was fatty. Sweet potatoes were just right, not too sweet. Cornbread just ok. Things to know: 1. This place is tiny.
