“We regularly swing by the Brass Rail at the tail end of Thursday and/or Friday evenings of we need something quick, tasty and warm. Their food is always tasty and their drinks are great. We've had one issue with a weird cocktail over the course of our regular visits but invariably we are fans. The one caveat is it takes forever to get and pay the check when they get busy, to the point it takes longer to receive and pay for dinner than it does to get our entrees. But this place is a great destination and we are regulars for a reason.“

“West end has been one of our favorite places to dine for over 30 years. They have kept up the wonderful food and service even though Management has changed. The food was always outstanding and it hasn't changed. The service was always spot on and continues to be warm and caring. The four of had their prix fixed dinner and it was outstanding. The portions were the same size as the ala carte menu and the food was spot on. hadn't been there in a while because of some health issues but we will be regulars again as will our friends.“

I hosted a party of 20 at Applebee’s, and the entire experience was absolutely outstanding! From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, organized, and incredibly accommodating. Handling a large group is never easy, but they made it look effortless.

Our server Alexandra went above and beyond, keeping drinks full, orders accurate, and everyone happy. The food came out quickly, hot, and perfectly cooked. Not a single mistake, which is impressive for such a big party! Every guest raved about both the service and the quality of the food.

The team Projwal Pradhan, Alexandra and Angel truly made our celebration smooth, enjoyable, and stress-free. I’m so grateful for their professionalism and kindness. We will definitely be returning for future gatherings!

“We actually never went to this location before, but had greatly enjoyed their prior second location in Port Washington. Expectaions were right on point. Food was excellent from appetizer to the main course. Maybe it's weird but I kind of respect even the small things like when a restaraunt offers to chose to serve in house brewed ice tea as opposed to something pre processed. The Brisket from todays specials list was perfect. This restaurant is 45min drive from home and well worth the trip. Thank You, we will be back.“

“Went to my great nieces birthday and Baptism; Charlotte is 1 year old! Apparently, Wellington Grill is being rented as a special catering event location.
Very clean, lots of windows, 2 large rooms including a full bar on one side. A couple of areas for hors douerves and buffet or sit down dinner.

Our guests raved about the food - how fresh, plentiful and delicious everything was. We had several guests with dietary needs (peanut allergy, vegetarian) and Pam helped us craft a menu to accommodate our guests. The team for the day (Sean, Jon, and Natalya) were so attentive and we appreciate the staff and everyone behind the scenes that made the afternoon a lovely memory for our family and guests. “Husband & I were in the area & decided to stop in for lunch today & glad we did. I had the Lamb Gyro, came w/french fries & Beef Barley soup. Soup was delicious. Gyro had plenty of meat (lamb) w/lettuce, tomatoes & onions. All very fresh. Husband had Falafel which he said was absolutely delicious. We had a great lunch. The staff were very nice and attentive & restaurant was cheerful & clean. We will definitely be coming back to try their dinner next time. Highly recommend Opa Grille.“

Oh, and the service was excellent too! “Two door is amazing. They have a really good lunch service weekdays (burgers, grilled sandwiches, fries etc. It's not fancy but just really good honest food cooked to order. Chicken parmigiana on Thursday is a local phenomenon as are the Fish and Chips on Friday night. Both nights sell out fast. This place speaks for itself. There are few places with legitimate original character these days. Frequent them, embrace them and support them in all their rustic glory you'll be richer for the experience!“

“I've dined here at least 20 times and have always had a great experience. Our server Deneen was outstanding. So sweet and professional and took great care of us during our dinner. She should be commended. Two of us got the chicken breast dinner and the other two got the pork chop. Everything was delicious as usual. Our wine was great as were the little desserts they always serve. Seasons 52 has become a favorite which is why we always come back!“

“Crackers is a spot often overlooked as it is on the entrance road to the Roosevelt Field Mall in an office building's first floor. While this coffee shop offers no table service, the cafeteria style ordering gives you a chance to see all the day's offerings and to peruse their menu board. They make great soups, salads, and sandwiches as well as daily hot lunch specials. Often, I would take home lunch for dinner, especially their Swedish Meatballs and Egg Noodles, Sausage and Peppers, and Chicken Francese. The office favorite is their BLT. A nice bonus if you dine in is their dining room. Decorated in rattan and light colors, it feels like the place belongs far south of Long Island. It is a great spot to meet a friend for lunch and catch up on cable News 12. They draw a business crowd, but the line moves so you can enjoy your lunch.“

“One of the few meals my family can all agree on. I could eat this every day. The regular philly with cheese wiz is amazing. After trying Pat and Gino’s in Philadelphia, and then others, I was convinced that I did not like cheese wiz on my Philly. I was wrong, hands down this is the best. Cost unfortunately remains the only barrier; over $70 to feed a family of four for lunch is a bit much. $50-60 is my top price point for a fun meal from out.“

“Love this place! This is my go-to spot for lunch with friends and family. I highly recommend the grilled peach ricotta toast, the hot honey chicken sandwich, the everything pigs in a blanket, the crispy brussels sprouts and any of the smoothies. YUM!

“I just had my wedding at the Heritage Club, and the day went perfectly. I met with Mindy when touring the venue, and she was very helpful in explaining all the details, and she remained hands-on throughout the whole process. Everything was set up beautifully, and the events progressed seamlessly. Guests told me that this wedding was the most "on time" and organized wedding they have ever attended. The maitre-d helped make sure everything was going according to plan, and he even made sure we were looking at the right cameras during various events. Janet, the bridal attendant, was also incredibly helpful beyond words. When my husband's button popped off his tuxedo jacket, she sewed it back on within seconds. When lipstick got on my teeth, she appears with a q-tip and some floss. She was always around to help carry my train or give me a glass of water (with a straw!).There was a moment when I was walking with my full train, but by the time I reached the end of a hall, Janet had magically bustled the dress without me even noticing. From a guest-experience perspective, the Heritage Club also went above and beyond. Everyone raved about how full they were from cocktail hour, but then were still amazed by the quality of the seated dinner and passed desserts. The venue itself is also beautiful, with each space having its distinct characteristics. The ballroom in the daylight is breathtaking and airy.“
