Regarding the food:

Grilled Spanish Octopus: Highly recommended. The potato pave is delicious, and the octopus is tender with a perfect charred exterior.

Short Rib with Bone Marrow: The meat is very tender and falls apart at the touch of a fork, though I wish the portion of bone marrow was a bit larger.

King Salmon: Quite tender.

Burrata Cheese: Standard/average.

Caramel Flan: Delicious and beautifully presented.

Overall, it is a great spot for a nice dinner.“

“We went to the Applebee's in New Rochelle today. We were met by Warren who is one of the managers. He was friendly and took us to our table. We explained about a problem that we had at Applebee's at 815 Hutchinson River Parkway at the beginning of July. He apologized and said that the incident would not happen here. He then introduced us to Mariama who was our waitress. She introduced herself to us and was very friendly and efficient. She took our orders and everything came out perfectly. She stayed attentive the entire time. When it came time for the check Warren brought it and comped the entire meal and drinks. We told him that it wasn't necessary, but he insisted. We will definitely return to this establishment often“

The food was “DELISH!” The owner was welcoming & hospitable, the service was good, and the music and atmosphere wea awesome! “I had an amazing experience at Golden K Burgers. Golden K Burgers must be one of the best burger places I have eaten at. Firstly, Golden K Burger has such a good party vibe! It is a great place for not just burgers, but also partying!!! The burgers were amazing. We asked for recommendations from the staff, and she suggested The Classic American, The A1, The Farmhouse, and The Bulogoi Burger. Somehow, we ordered all 4, and unfortunately, I never tasted The Classic American. I could say otherwise for the rest of the burgers. The A1 Burger was an amazing burger, the mushroom flavor stood out, and it had a great saucy flavor. The meat was very juicy and soft. The Bulgogi Burger is not as special, it just tastes like marinated beef, and nothing else. The Bulgogi Burger is not worth the money. The Farmhouse was amazing! It had a recognizable smokey flavor, with the crunchy onion, it became a juicy, smokey, crunchy burger! It was my favorite one, and you HAVE to try it! The french fries were very crunchy and delicious, and the meat to bun ratio was perfect! Even though the whole place was busy, the waiters were super kind and helpful. The whole place was clean, and their sofas felt amazing. Their meals come out faster than expected, and they even have an outdoor area for parties, even though you have to reserve it. Speaking of reserving, you HAVE to reserve a seat, online or by calling. We were very lucky, the place was not as packed and I got a seat in less than 10 minutes, but other times, I cannot say the same. Reserving does not take a lot of time, and can save you a lot of time inside the restaurant since it is packed!!! The inside of the restaurant also feels very cramped due to the small space and the number of customers, so it might get uncomfortable. The bottles are also… weird. For some reason, when we got 2 soda drinks from the glass bottles, there was residue on the rim of the bottle, even though it was freshly opened, I suggest drinking from straws! Overall, I love this place, it really deserves a high score on Google Maps. I highly recommend it as one of THE BEST burger places in New York!“

“West end has been one of our favorite places to dine for over 30 years. They have kept up the wonderful food and service even though Management has changed. The food was always outstanding and it hasn't changed. The service was always spot on and continues to be warm and caring. The four of had their prix fixed dinner and it was outstanding. The portions were the same size as the ala carte menu and the food was spot on. hadn't been there in a while because of some health issues but we will be regulars again as will our friends.“

This year I decided to give the excellent and highly favored family cooking team a break and had Austin’s Ale House cater our Christmas Dinner. I went with the ham dinner for 10 to feed 7 people🤣. The ordering was done with ease and so was the pick up. The family did a preliminary tasting...... LOVED .IT and whatever we have left after the “taste test” will have to serve as our Christmas Dinner. My entree was the Cajun chicken and that did not disappoint me either. The dessert the chocolate espresso mousse was delightful with its gold flakes. “Always a pleasure coming to Rove! Tonite was an exceptional experience. I wish i got the bartenders name. Wednesday 4/24/24 between 7-9pm. Nice nails and curly hair. She was funny pleasant and took care of us. Long story short, after great apps and drinks, paid the bill and left…I dropped a $50 out of my pocket after I paid and left and was only 2 store fronts down and she came after me telling me you dropped a bill and gave it back. You don’t see this honestly often anymore. Kudos to her and Rove deserves her as an employee.“
