“This is such a gem! I have been craving pork belly for a while now so I went to ssam tong today and let me tell you this place is amazing! Ordered a pork belly, pork jowl and beef~ the meat was tender and delicious! The staff is the best~ they are cute and hilarious! Love it!! Rico and the owner helped us with the grilling! They are so sweet! The atmosphere is so friendly and comfortable that it made the whole dining experience beyond excellent! I will definitely come back whenever I crave Korean bbq around the Murray Hill area! :)“
“Pretty good Korean bbq. A bit different on what I'm use too. The small dishes they give wasn't anything to talk about such as other k bbq spots. However, the meat stairs were pretty damn good and the marinaded chicken was delicious. I went for my friend's birthday, and the staff was great and even gave a meat cake. Only take away was they charged $3 extra every-time you request for extra lettuce shells which most other kbbq spots is given for free. The ambiance was excellent and very clean.“

“Have been there twice in the past few months, once with a group of 4 then with a group of 14. Both times both food and service were excellent…they have improved since they first opened. If you haven’t been here recently, highly recommend. Weekends get busy, recommend going during the weekday.“

“We went late night and really liked the food, beef, lamb, squid skewers were all very flavorful but not overly spicy. Draft beer was very good. It took a while to get out ramen stir fry, but it was pretty tasty! The lamb skewers are pretty big, so don't order too many at first “

“I visited this place with co-workers who recommended eating here. It's a pretty cool spot. Dark, even during the day, with flat screen TVs playing K-Pop music videos and cozy tables, cushion stools with removable lids to put your belongings in. Great idea for coats and jackets as you will leave there smelling kinda smokey. After all, they're cooking your food right at the table. By the way, when you go - go on an empty stomach. You will eat!! They have an all you can eat menu and their options are plenty. With some help from my friend, having been there before; he helped choose some dishes and they were really good. They have dips and toppings, kimchi and other little add-ons to have with your food and as you choose your meats or seafood, the server places it on your cast iron pot, you watch it cook and they'll tell you when it's ready so you can enjoy. It's very family style as you're all eating off the same pot, but the server sections off portions of food to each guest so you'll have your own area to grab food from. The bulgogi and spicy pork were really good. The homemade spam was ok. It's a very unique and enjoyable experience. Definitely coming back here and bringing my son who would absolutely love this place.“
“The service was great, Tae was my server he helped me out everything. I like the chicken stay and the peanut sauce was so amazing all the meats section was organized and fresh. However we had time to stay 90mins but we got full before time’s up. Probably recommended and will go back again soon.“
“AWESOME KOREAN RESTAURANT IN LONG ISLAND: I’m not a foodie and I don’t think I’ve ever posted about restaurants (but I am Korean) - I have to make an exception for this place. Yes, this restaurant is on Long Island, but the Korean food EXCELLENT (better than lots of places in Flushing) and service is OUTSTANDING. Every dish we’ve tried so far (짜장면, 순두부찌개, 육개장, 제육덮밥) has been so amazing, delicious, and authentic (especially the spices!!!). If you’re ever in the area, please stop in and eat here. It’s crazy awesome! Thanks to my friend for encouraging me to try at a Korean restaurant that is not in Queens. My family will be forever grateful - five stars and 2 thumbs way up from me and my family members. :)“

My family and I were very skeptical of this place because of the mixed reviews but this place is definitely worth a shot.Let me start off with the service. The service was probably one of the best service I’ve ever received dining in a restaurant. They’re quick to take your order, food comes out relatively fast, and they are very kind. Constantly asking if we need refills on the side dishes, sauces and beverages was a very good gesture.The meat was all very flavorful and tasty.I can see why some of the meat can come off as bland or “flavorless” but that’s why the sauces come into play.I’ve never tried anything like soy mayo in my life and that sauce was a really big boost in flavor.All the side dishes were also very flavorful as well and my whole family loved it.The atmosphere was also very welcoming with a diverse set of music playing in the background. “I enjoyed my visit today. I ordered the lunch special (meat, side, cornbread) and chose brisket and sweet potato. The brisket had great flavor, though next time I'll ask for leaner pieces as mine was fatty. Sweet potatoes were just right, not too sweet. Cornbread just ok. Things to know: 1. This place is tiny. There are just 4 bar seats and that's it. 2. Beverage options limited. Coke, sprite, water. 3. The service is amazingly friendly and personable. I didn't get the woman's name behind the counter but I'd go back there just to hang out with her. And it wasn't just me, she was that way with every customer including a 4 year old. You don't need to travel to come here but it's a good stop if you are nearby. Just 2 blocks off the Locust Valley train station.“

“I don't think I have ever enjoyed eating intestines more. While I have ordered intestines from other Korean BBQ places. This is the first that I have been to that specializes in it.If you are hesitant about internal organs or just grossed out by it. They do have other meat options available to you, i.e beef and pork. But I firmly believe you are doing yourself an injustice if you don't at least give the intestines a try. They are especially good if you let them crisp up a bit more on the grill.They also make a fried rice for you upon request on your grill that the intestines are served on. I do recommend it if you have the stomach space for it. The fired rice pictured is a serving for 3.My only gripe about this place is the table space. The tables are incredibly small. This becomes apparent when you order more dishes outside of the grill.“

“All time favorite korean pork bbq restaurant in ktown, that is the real authentic ktown in flushing, not touristy and hyped up or wanna be hot and viral spot of ktown in Manhattan. I'm a long time patron of this fine, no frills and straightforward pork heaven that this establishment has to offer. I always go for the soy bean paste marinated pork belly on their crystal based grill cooked by lovely ladies who could be perceived curt and indifferent if you are not used to them , lol.It doesn't hurt that they always hook me up with a bottle of soju in pork heaven.“
“We walked by this restaurant and decided to have a light dinner after having shaved-ice nearby on a hot day.This is a typical casual KBBQ joint with pretty good charcoal BBQ and good service. We ordered the Kalbi and Squid, both good quality and quite tasty.A neighborhood gem, so glad we gave it a shot and we will be back with friends to try different meats/items next time.“

“Great bustling place me and my friends found(friendship bbq lol) it was completely random night,looking for something to eat no research before hand. When we walked thru the ramp and then opened the doors we were so surprised how busy it was.Because of that the service wasn’t that great.We had no idea what we were in for. You order on an iPad then they bring out the skewers. We were completely clueless but once we started to eat,girlllll it was so delicious! The top 3 things I’d recommend are the corn ,Mongolian beef and fried rice.The raw beef is suppose to be eaten raw. We weren’t feeling risky enough to eat it like that so we ended up waiting a good while for them to cook(never again).Drinks weren’t so fueled with alcohol, i personally like mines strong. I saw the team sing the most epic happy birthday song! After we were done I went to the bathroom where there was mouthwash! Completely blown away. We got free dessert by the time we were leaving! I can’t wait to go back to try more things!“

Looked interesting and I wanted to try it - was glad I did.The menu is smaller, but enough and great choices. I settled on the brisket empanadas for an appetizer. I honestly could've eaten a bucket of these as they were that good. The 'nada sauce was fine, but you don't need it either.They have a good drink selection and had Mexican Coke (and Sprite)! If you haven't ever tried Mexican Coke, I'd strongly recommend it. Superior to American Coke for sure.For the main course, I went with the reliable burger - in this case, the 'house double'(w/ a side). I added bacon, because why not. Burger was very tasty and something I'd easily have again, though there were enough options on the menu that I'd also love to try.Alana was excellent. Friendly, welcoming, attentive, and a pleasure. Simply outstanding all around.The place is small, but comfortable. 3 booths and several tables - a bar if you want to sit there. Several TVs as well.There is another location in New Rochelle (the first one actually).Parking is metered street. There is a 2 hour limit on the meters (that only accepts quarters), so make sure you keep track. There's also an app, but I didn't download it.Place is nice and one I intend to return to. If you're in the area, I'd definitely recommend it.“

“Our Global Committee from the Long Island Board of Realtors had a Lunar Celebration of the Dragon last Mon. Feb 12. It was my very first time eating there. The food was sumptuous and delicious. The service was excellent too. It was a self-service styled setup and there were ample amounts of varied types of dishes, some spicy and some not. The chicken dishes were superb. There was an amazing string bean dish with various spices that was fantastic. I believe there was some fish dish, I am not sure of the exact name, but that too was great. Every dish was very tasty and I would reccomend everyone to go there and enjoy an excellent meal.“
“Lincoln barbecue what can I say I'm an avid bird hunter in the Northwest and a film director and VFX supervisor in Los Angeles and have directed a lot of hip-hop music videos and felt right at home when I was in the heart of the hood in East Yonkers last night when I came across a Portuguese barbecue restaurant called Lincoln bbq. It is an amazing place the clientele mainly seemed like Portuguese. Their's a family atmosphere in which an hour to close, and I quickly saw and ordered the "Duck with blueberry sauce". Damn, these mothf*#%ers gave me one of the best duck eating experiences I've ever had, right up there next to perfectly roast Thai duck I use to get in San Francisco in the 1980s. Lincoln bbq created a perfectly roasted Portuguese style duck with blueberry sauce, with succulent mashed potatoes and spinach. I love that they're above the par, here in NYC area, but they're on a fine gourmet level and the surprise is you can find it right in the East Yonkers hood:) Try it aight!“
“First time trying this place, I found this awesome combo deal $9.99 on little red book. I wanted to see what all the hype was all about. The combo came with lamb noodle soup and 5 lamb bbq skewers. This was a great deal and awesome combination. I've had and tried many lamb noodle soup in many places, the favor of lamb is very tricky. As for this soup base it covered the tacky taste of lamb which was a plus on my end. Service was acceptable, they deal is before 5pm, I stopped in around 12pm. They offered warm water, but didn't come out till I finished my meal, due to no hot water. Overall I had a good experience, I definitely would come back and try their other combos.“

“Really good KBBQ place. Meat cuts are high quality and very delicious. Marinated Beef Rib is my favorite item (only on the dinner menu). I would be wary about the intestines at this location. I have had it one time and it was fine but another time the intestines just kind of fell apart on the grill and would rip and tear. Soybean paste stew and egg custard are very delicious, highly recommended. Servers are very attentive and fast in getting you the items that you order. They keep you filled up on water and change out the grill often so you aren't eating burned remnants.“

“Came in at 6pm on a Friday night and it was not busy at all. I think it is more of a late night eat and drink type of place though. The BBQ skewers are perfectly seasoned and the menu is huge! Lots of pictures too, which is super helpful when ordering. Everything was delicious. I especially liked the eggplant and okra.“
