Patty Melt was a humble medieval serf. One day the local royal wizard, Magical Johnny, noticed how hard Patty was working in the fields for very little reward. He invited her into his home, Castle Kitchen, and worked a miracle. Patty was elevated - exalted, even - into a gloriously rich creature, known from that day forward as Fey Queen Patricia.
Seriously, the patty melt so savory and gooey great, miles above any I've ever had. Thanks for making me aware how great this seemingly simple sandwich can be. I get the hype now, and hope to get the chance to try more of your menu in the future.

After a wine trip we found Johnny's. It was a very pleasant surprise. Burgers where big and very good. I had the meatloaf. That was very good too. Definitely will stop back when we are in the area again.

Delicious!!! I got the Vermont Panini and it was fantastic. Perfect for the fall weather. My family ordered other sandwiches and we all tried each others and not one was bad. The two workers there today were very kind and great servers. 10/10! This has been our favorite place to eat while visiting Vermont

We absolutely loved this place!! The food was incredible. Really fresh, flavorful. Everyone who works there is super nice. The outdoor seating is really cute and was fun even on a cold night.
We had the OG smash burger and citrus and beet salad. Both were spectacular.
We're visiting from Rochester and are so happy we made the drive, we'll definitely be coming back.

Definitely my favorite burger I've ever had! Highly recommend this place. My husband and I are visiting all the way from Delaware and found this lil restaurant on google on the way to a state park. I got the OG Smash and he got the Bacon Jam Smash (I think) and we were raving about it the whole time, including the fries that were great. Definitely worth the price for the portion sizes, just wish I could've finished mine but held back because we're about to go hiking lol. Would definitely go back if we're ever up here again!!

From brunch favorites like their breakfast tacos, seasonal omelets, French Toast (GF) with whipped cream, walnuts, and pure maple syrup — to dinner dishes like the Lodi Hot Chicken, Fish Fry, Tomavo, and Jerk Chicken — every single meal is fresh, homemade, and absolutely delicious. The sides are just as amazing as the mains, and everything is cooked with love and consistency.
What makes Johnny’s Kitchen even more special are the people behind it. Owners Regan and Johnny bring such kindness and care to everything they do. Walking in feels like going back in time where we are surrounded by small-town warmth where people truly care about each other. This place is spectacular. Lodi is LUCKY to have this place. We go out of our way to eat here every chance we get. It’s an excellent place to take a food trip to. The operators are a husband and wife who are genuinely the nicest folks and so good at what they do. Everything from the ingredients that are locally sourced down to the service which is top notch always blows us away when we eat here. Prices are fair, portions are good. It’s a wonderful. It’s such a hidden gem and worth the trip. Their menus varies but everything I have eaten here is fantastic. We like their sandwiches and burgers. The place has some of the best food in upstate. I have a feeling they will blow up at some point.
