Always a wonderful experience at Nagahama. The food is authentic and top quality, extremely fresh and well prepared. Beautiful sushi and sashimi selections, on par with what you’d find right in the heart of Japan. Definitely try the Toro (Bluefin tuna — a market price selection) and Unagi (salt water eel). Best sushi restaurant. Always a great experience since the quality of the both the product and service are superior. Grabbing a seat at the bar and ordering a bottle of wine or sake is our favorite option for date night.
Top sushi spot in Long Beach. Place is always busy, no reservations, great take out. Do not look past the sushi options, dumplings are definitely made in house and the aged tofu is delicious.
