I stayed nearby for the summer and came here all the time- it’s a real gem. The food is fantastic (big portions, always delicious), and the drinks are great too. I love the kimchi skillet, the salads, the breakfast options- and the Belgian waffle is banging. My parents are old-school New Yorkers who really value a classic neighborhood spot with great service and food, and they loved it here. The space is cozy, the service is quick and friendly, and it’s perfect whether you’re sitting down or grabbing something to go. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Great reliable brunch spot! I usually take all my friends from out of town to Astoria Provisions. It is a beautiful space! I am a HUGE coffee person, but here the hot chocolate with marshmallows is the highlight! I love it more than any of their food lol. I like to try different things on their menu and I like their sweet brunch options a lot more than their savory. I tried their breakfast tacos last time and I think everything is missing a little more seasoning in general but that is just MY preference! The staff is always so sweet! They accommodated my party of 6 on a busy weekend. It is such a staple for me!

I love Rada. Her tattoos are the coolest. But also thank you for telling me what I should eat so many amazing options.

Not bad. Not great either. Slightly disappointed. My avocado toast for 17$ included a dry, cheap piece of toast, half a sliced avocado, a tomato and a fried egg.
Clean. Nice staff. Solid. But if you're looking for a brunch spot where you'll want to sit for hours, this is not it.

What a terrific place. Yes, get the grilled cheese and tomato soup (the roasted tomatoes really came through on the soup). This menu is tasty and pure comfort. And the feeling of the place is great. Go. Enjoy.

I am deeply sad by the unfortunate experience we recently had at this establishment. I have been a loyal customer for many years, but today’s encounter was the first time I have been treated with such disrespect. It is unacceptable for a hospitality professional to approach customers in such a manner.
After sat at a four-top table outside, a white elderly man who looked very unhappy approached us with an unpleasant attitude. He informed us that the table was intended for four people, not two, despite our apologies. He continued to lecture us and pick up our glasses in an unprofessional and rude manner. This behavior made us feel uncomfortable and surprised. We had to leave immediately while he was still speaking loudly and warned us not to return.
It is sad to witness such poor behavior in a place that has always been known for its welcoming and exceptional customer service. This establishment has served the community of Astoria for years , and it is unacceptable that it is now running by such actions.

The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with a warm, welcoming vibe that makes it a perfect spot to relax or catch up with friends. One of the highlights of my visit was the rose cappuccino—absolutely amazing! The delicate floral notes blended perfectly with the rich, smooth coffee, creating a unique and delightful flavor that I won’t soon forget. Although it was on the sweeter side, avoid if you like your coffee black.
As for the food, I tried the huevos rancheros. While they were tasty, I felt they were just okay. The dish had good flavors, but I think it could have been a bit more flavorful or had more of a standout element to it. Still, it was enjoyable and paired well with the cappuccino.
Overall, this is definitely a place I’d recommend, especially for their drinks. I’ll be back to try other items on the menu!

Restaurantji Recommends
I’ve been to this restaurant a couple of times, and while the food is decent, my experience today was disappointing. I arrived at 9:30 AM to find the door locked, even though there were customers already inside. One of them opened the door for me and mentioned that no staff was available but suggested I could order online. However, the online ordering system was off.
There were only two people working in the kitchen, and neither came out to communicate that the restaurant was closed. This lack of communication shows a lack of commitment and respect for customers’ time. The food may be good, but the poor service and unprofessional handling of operations make it hard to recommend this place.

Came by for brunch one day and had an absolutely wonderful experience! Our server Victoria was very sweet and inpressively memorized our order without writing a word! When the food came out I was blown away! Seasoning was delicious and everything perfectly cooked. The place was busy and there was a decent wait but it was sooo worth it! I would highly reccomend bringing a friend here if you want to impress them!

I really used to like this place, but I just had the most rude interaction. I placed a delivery order through their website. I got 2 order confirmations with in 5 minutes. 1 said they received it, the 2nd said they accepted it. After an hour I called to check on it. After having to repeatedly call before they answered I was then met with attitude saying they had closed at 3 (their hours are listed as closing at 5), and even though I got a message they accepted the order that it wasn’t being made, and I would get a refund. No apology of any kind!! After I hung up I then received another message saying my order was on It’s way. They have good food, but this isn’t ok and it isn’t ok to treat customers like it was their fault when it was the restaurants mistake!!!
Wonderful service and wonderful food!

I had some complaints but ultimately recommend eating here
Food was alright, I got a chorizo skillet. Chorizo tased like European sausage, not quite as flavorful as chorizo I'm familiar with. Also a little too much tomato sauce, but some may enjoy their food that way. The dish wasn't what I expected but certainly not terrible. For the price I expected a little more, but not an unfair ask.
Other people I went with also had mixed feelings on the breakfast options. Same as I thought, not bad but not mind blowing, aside from my mom's Benny breakfast, which she enjoyed.
The coffee was burnt, but the juice was very good. They have an orange juicer behind the bar that they run constantly, with lemons dropped in occasionally. They have that part down, the juice was genuinely so good it was noteworthy.
The atmosphere was above average. Lovely natural light in the morning and brunch time, good location, interesting view through window into some of the kitchen facilities.
The owner is also very involved, and messaged me shortly after my review about my issues with the experience. Despite my misreading them at first (I wrongly thought they were an angry business owner lol), they were extremely gracious and very serious about making their business a winner. I have serious respect for this personal approach, and hope people keep businesses like this in Astoria.
