Empanadas! At a reasonable price—in Astoria/LIC! A miracle!
Chicken empanadas are best. The beef and egg are a little on the salty side for me.
Humble place, very popular with the Latino community in the area. I hope they continue to do well.

Maybe I am going at the wrong time, but the 2 times I stopped in, the place seemed cleaned out and a few measly bread pastries laying around. Disappointed as I was looking for cake or sweets

Pan de bono and pan de yuca are my personal favorites especially while fresh. Yuca bread gets stale fast. Mixed empanadas including spinach and cheese, Colombian style beef and potatoes. Prices are excellent and coffee is strong
