Husband and I grabbed a Chicken Milanese Torta for takeout to split for lunch. We opted to get fries with it. The fries weren't great but that's not what we went for, we went for the Torta! It was very good, flavors great, and the price was extremely reasonable. We will definitely be back!

Chicken Milanesa Torta is out of this world. Better than any sandwiches offer by major chains.

The food here is great drinks also.
Haven't eaten in yet but have been happily getting takeout from this no frills, charming establishment for a couple of years. The tacos are the best in the neighbourhood - personal favourite is the carnitas which is always succulent and juicy. Great amount of meat in each taco too. If you have a touch of the munchies the mixed meat nachos hit the spot.Always love finding a local spot you can rely on!

Open way late. A go to in the neighborhood when other dining rooms are closed. Super authentic Mexican! Not the cheapest but the food more than makes up for it. The $3 tamales are best i ever had.

Located under the El on 31st in Astoria, this clean but cozy, dark, and loud establishment is like any good Mexican restaurant should be. My family and I came for lunch today, as some were first-timers, and we had the whole place to ourselves. We were greeted by the staff and seated promptly with Mexican wall decor and music blasting. We all decided on the combination platter, which was accompanied by Mexican rice and refried beans. Nacho chips with salsa started our meal. I decided on my hibiscus tea (agua de Jamaica), which was refreshing. The presentation was impeccable; however, sadly, they lacked savory seasoning. The waitress was on point; she magically showed up when needed. The price was affordable, but there was a separate cost for cash and cards. We had a nice time, but I don’t see returning soon.

Still have no clue how this place is is business, they definitely own the building. The food has gotten worse through out the years but it was always bland honestly. It’s great spot if you want a cheap quick sandwich. The service is probably worse than the dmv and all the servers are trash. Don’t bring your card because as you see from other reviews they’re scammers. So bring cash. 2/10 place

I gave four stars to the service because i rarely see the server.I’ve been a patron here about five times. The food is always good.Rice ✔️Tortillas ✔️Poultry and Meat ✔️very nice salsa and chips tooNot sure if any non-Mexicans consider this but, the salsa verde was not soggy or watery that for me is a sign that the staff know what they are doing.Overall friendly staff and great music.

Very bad service. They are forcing you to go out if you consume alcohol, but there is a pink-haired waitress who opens one after the other and says that it is her job if you don't drink tea vaz????

A lot of issues with this Mexican restaurant. Service is poor slow, and they appear to be language barriers. I came here last Thursday. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and got back what looked like two burritos. The food was $16. It's safe to say you should give this a miss. We have better spots in Astoria.
