The food was okay but we felt really let down by the service, would've easily ordered another 2 or 3 rounds of drinks with dinner, and had to wait about 15 minutes after they took our plates before anyone would come and take our dessert order.

I grew up Italian-American (my grandfather lived on Arthur Avenue) and this place has some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had in my life.

The staff is incredibly welcoming, and the owner went out of his way to make our engagement night special.

Don’t be fooled by 5-star reviews from clueless tourists who like Olive Garden…if you want to get authentic Italian food, talk to Italian people about where they go to eat.

This place is the real deal and we will be coming back. Grazie mille, Gino!

I’ve dined here with my family and dined here alone. Great service and great food each time. Owner/manager is also very nice and goes out of his way to make sure you are comfortable. Eggplant penne is very good. Great addition to the neighborhood!

Very good, had a great time there. Their martinis are on point! Food is excellent. Really happy to have such a great Italian restaurant in LIC.

We had pizza and pasta at Mercado LIC and everything was delicious — fresh ingredients, amazing flavors, and perfectly cooked. The service was extra — so attentive and friendly, it really made the experience stand out. The atmosphere is cozy yet lively, perfect for a casual dinner or date night. Amazing Food and Wonderful Hospitality at Mercato LIC

My family and I stopped by Mercato LIC for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by how delicious everything was! The pizza was outstanding, and the Minestrone soup (soup of the day) was full of flavor. We also had a lovely conversation with the owner, Gino—such a kind and genuine person who clearly takes pride in using high-quality ingredients. The atmosphere is fantastic: a beautiful interior, a great terrace, and awnings for comfort on sunny days. We’re so glad we discovered this gem and will definitely be coming back soon!

The chicken dish I ordered tonight was the best chicken I have ordered anywhere ever. I was telling the waiter and the table next to us overheard and they had ordered the same dish and agreed. This place is superb.

I’ve been living in New York for 3 years, and this is by far the best Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to. The food is absolutely delicious not salty at all, made with the freshest ingredients. As the dishes cooled, the flavors actually became even richer and more enjoyable. Truly unforgettable! I’ll definitely be coming back with my parents.
