“Tacos can be made wrong. They don’t do that here. Top 5 best tacos I’ve had in NYC! I don’t care about anything else other than “Is the food good?” Steak was seasoned & slightly charred just like I like it! Clean, great service and even better food. “Solid breakfast burritos and great tortillas, which are like gold here. I haven’t tried anything else on the menu yet, but it’s just a matter of time - the salads look awesome. I moved here from Texas a year ago and love everything about the city (except for the rent), but I do miss Tex Mex and good tortillas. New Mexican is its own cuisine and sure hits the spot while also being healthier, and those tortillas are a game changer. So glad to have found this place, just had breakfast from here, and am already looking forward to going back.“

“Great Margs & Tacos, but a bit pricey! The portions were a very good size. Two people could easily be satisfied by splitting the dip platter and 3 Tacos. The Birria Tacos were good but personally thought they could have had a bit more flavor. Al Pastor was tasty and came with a couple extra sauces.
The service was lacking, there was only two tables in the whole restaurant at the time we went and yet my water glass still set empty for most of our visit.
The atmosphere was great. We got a table in the corner facing the street and it was great to be able to people watch while we enjoyed our food.“

“We were in town for a wedding, and this was the place where they hosted a pre-wedding celebration. The atmosphere was exciting, and regardless of the large crowd, the servers did an amazing job. Everyone had such an amazing and memorable time.“

“The reviews are right. This place has great tasting food! We got the J*** chicken with rice and peas and plantains. We also got the wings with Rasta Pasta and plantains. Everything was on point and super flavorful. I highly recommend the wings - they are the best thing we got and the best wings you can get. I will say it was a little more expensive than usual but the portion sizes were good and the food tasted great so its worth it. Highly recommend trying this place.“

“This place is super cute and the drinks are very good!! Went with my sister for a trifecta kinda day and the margs did not disappoint! We didn’t have the food but the people around us ordered some items and it looked and smelled super great!
The place is pretty small as far as like it’s just the front area but they have a bar style table in the middle and tables on both sides. Music was pretty standard we didn’t go on a brunch day so not sure if it’s more turnt but we had a good time! Yes they have Tajin and they can put that on your rim!
We also went back a second time and go to go drinks and they were delicious there’s like over 15 flavors so that makes it super fun!

“This place rules. Favorite burrito in BK. It's a utility burrito, sturdy - you can eat it with your hands no foil and its heavy you're going to be catatonic after eating it. Quesadilla are also heavy heavy, they do not skimp on the meats, veggies, mushrooms, what have you. Favors are great, salsas are poppin, vibes are welcoming. Thank you Rancho, te amo.“

“Both delivery and dine in was a wonderful experience. Thalia is wonderful and friendly. Their food is fresh and authentic. Highly recommend their tacos, tortas, and drinks. If you order via Ubereats, they have bogo deals so you can grab 2 tacos for less than $6!“

“Best Mexican tacos come from this Best Mexican food truck located on corner of Washington Place & Broadway. Freshly made to order and fresh taste including slice of pineapple, pickled onions, home made salsas green mild, hot, very hot. “We were looking for a good taco spot around astoria, and there was none, but then we came across this lovely place, called Veracruzano, decided to give it a try. And let me tell you, it was one of the best tacos we ever had! The place is so clean, portions are big, fresh and delicious! The owner is a very cool guy!
We've already gone twice to this place, and now, this is our taco spot to go to! Highly recommend 👌“

“It is a hidden gem worth tracking down! Ordering was a breeze with plenty of options to choose from, and the staff was super informative and helpful—happy to answer questions and make great recommendations.
The tacos? Absolutely delicious. We tried the grilled chicken, fried chicken, grilled fish, and steak—and every single one was a hit. Flavorful, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. The food came out quickly, which was a huge plus, especially with hungry kids in tow.
While the seating area is limited, it’s just enough to grab a spot, sit down, and stuff your face—no frills, just great food. Bonus points for being kid-friendly—our kids loved it too. El Jefe is definitely worth a try if you're in the area. Top notch!“

“This is my favorite recent addition to the community. The food is delicious, and the closest I've found to the Mexican food I grew up with in Arizona. The prices are a lifesaver given the state of the economy and the staff is always so friendly. 5 stars“

“I went here and ordered nachos which consisted of homemade tortilla chips, melted with cheese, in a bed of black beans puree, topped with crema, guacamole and pico de gallo (and shrimps=one of the options to choose from) and I really loved it. I am back in the Netherlands after a visit to New York and still thinking about it. Thank you so much for this lovely culinary experience.“

“The place is small but full of great vibes, the customer service is pretty good and the best part is the authentic Mexican taste in every bite you take !! If you ever decide to stop by I recommend trying their Mexican Chorizo Quesadillas and a horchata beverage. I heard that the chorizo is homemade which why I think it taste so good , other places have store bought and anything homemade makes a difference !!“

“My girlfriend and I had a great experience. Good atmosphere and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The drinks were good and the steak tacos were great. We’d ordered the guacamole and chips and asked them if it came with tomatoes (I’m allergic) the bar tender came back a few mins later and let us know that their guacamole was made with tomatoes but that she would take it off the bill. A manager (maybe the owner) stopped by the table and offered to make the guacamole fresh without tomatoes. We’re thankful for the generosity and would recommend House of Music to anyone.“

“Food was delicious and portion was a lot. Service was on top notch and delivery was on time. I took the pic while we were eating, it was more tacos and quesadillas but we eat it. Churros were very delicious and crunchy on the outside and nice and soft on the inside. We often order food from this restaurant so I decided to review it today. Employees are very courteous. Birria had lots of meat and full of satisfying flavors. The price was reasonable. I highly recommend.“

“This morning I ordered 2 sandwiches from this place for the first time (bacon egg and cheese and chorizo egg and cheese) over the phone. The guy who took my order was very nice. We loved our sandwiches very fresh and not greasy at all. Imma go for the breakfast tacos next time. Thanks guys!!“
