I came here for an event and was happy to see they have such a large vegan menu. I tried the tacos which you can mix and match - ended up with 1 Brussel sprout, 1 Buffalo cauliflower , and 1 BBQ seitan. They were all delicious and the price was reasonable! Also love the decor of this place. It has a disco vibe. The music was kept down to a level where it was easy to converse, something I also appreciate.

great vegan menu, though their menu on the website doesn’t match the menu in person (which was a bit of a bummer bc some of the dishes on the website sounded really good lol) but cute restaurant with fun vibe as well. got the vegan mac and cheese and brussels sprouts starters which were delish, and then the seitan wrap and vegan “chicken” wrap. mac n cheese was probably the highlight!

I came here with my team for an end of season dinner, so we had about 30 people. I get that it's not always easy to manage such a big group but so many things went wrong. Unfortunately, we did not take any pictures of the food=[. My table was 4 people. For starters, we ordered the mushroom "calamari" which was pretty good. We wanted the cauliflower drumsticks but they were out so we swapped for the brussels sprouts. This dish was very underwhelming. The brussels could have been cooked a bit more and some of the cheese was not even melted. Very little effort was put into this dish it seemed. Finally, we got the 4 dips combo. The amount of pita that came with the dips was gobbled up right away and the ratio was way off so we had a lot of dip left. I explained this to our waiter and he brought us more pita but charged us $2 for it. Seemed unnecessary since, you would think, if we ordered 4 dips, you could spare to give us some more pita to eat it with but we thought to let it go. For our mains, my friend got the mixed grill (non-vegan). He found it to be salty. My other friend got a rib eye steak (non-vegan) and she ordered it medium rare but it came completely overcooked and was basically well done. The steak was bland and lacked seasoning. I get that this is a vegan restaurant with non-vegan options but we didn't expect the non-vegan dishes to fall short of expectations this much. My boyfriend and I shared 3 tacos (fish, shrimp and steak (non-vegan)) and bbq seitan. We both got sick from our food a few hours after eating. We're not sure which dish it was and no one else got sick that we were aware of but it gives me the indication that the food was not clean. All of this would have been excusable but then the cherry on top of our bad experience was 2 of our tables taking over an hour to get their food. I understand that we were a large party and it can get a bit crazy but one of the table that was last to get their food was our kids table. The other tables started sharing their food with them because they were so hungry. My table gave them some of the extra pita and dip that we had (which, mind you, we had to pay extra for the pita). We complained to the busboy who told us he only cleared tables. We told our waiter who said the food was coming. We even told the bartender because we didn't know who else to tell. They said we were a large party and that the food was coming. Waiting over an hour for food and while some of the other tables were done eating is unsatisfactory in my books. We would have let this go as well but this was the kids table, of all the tables to get their food last. We cannot let our kids go hungry! You would think that, to provide good customer service, they would have given us something to apologize for our long wait. They could have given the kids a free appetizer so they could have something to eat in the mean time or some free drinks. Nothing. For a restaurant that skimps you on pita bread and even makes you pay $2 extra, of course they will not give you anything when they make your children wait over an hour for food. I'm not sure if it was inexperience, being overwhelmed, language barrier, etc. but I would recommend NOTHING about this place. The food was hit or miss (mostly miss), service was terrible and slow, and no responsibility or accountability was taken. Finally, even though my table was 4 people, the waiter decided to combine our bill with the 2 tables next to us. Not sure why they did this but it did cause a lot of confusion since then everyone had to figure out their own tables and give that to the overall bill. The bill for our 3 tables, about 12 people was over $400. It took everything in me to still give them a tip after all of this. You would think that since we brought so much business to this place, they would show a bit of appreciation and give us something for spending so much. NOPE. Needless to say, I will not be back.

My entrée took almost 90min to arrive. It was lukewarm and exceedingly bland. Pepper sauce tasted of nothing. Not spicy, not savory, not salty.

Waitstaff was attentive though.

Very cozy place. Service was great, food was phenomenal and their special drinks were the best cocktails I ever tried. I would recommend this place to anyone who has a romantic date. Also their choice of music was just great.

quite confused by the positive reviews - our experience was not good at all. food was below mediocre (for what it costs especially but really for any cost), service was not great either, and our glassware did not seem clean (in addition, the bottle in which tap water was served had visible stains on the outside and inside it had whatever water bottles have inside when they're not cleaned regularly). one caveat is that we ordered from the brunch menu. it had thee variations for the vegan 'eggs', the one we ordered - 'steak and egg' ($18.75) was a tasteless jelly-like substance, much worse that what you'd have with e.g. 'justegg'. the 'egg'-based options are a third of what the brunch menu offers - how can they afford to serve something that bad representing that large of a part of their menu? the 'steak' was fine, the potatoes were excessively seasoned and the salad did not seem fresh. the beyond burger ($16.75) tasted ok, the vegan cheese there was fine, but the fries were very mushy. it's all quite disappointing for the price, but i would not come back even if the cost was cut in half. Attending a friend's wedding in NY so we were visiting from Dallas, TX and the husband has both Celiac's and is allergic to dairy. Not only was the food fantastic and beautifully presented, the atmosphere and vibe was relaxing. We wanted to come back for dinner but ran out of time sight seeing in Times Square. This is going to be our "must go to" place for future NY visits. Highly recommend this restaurant!!

Everything that we ordered, from the wine, to the appetizer, to the entrees was spectacular! I have nothing negative to say. The food was absolutely lovely, the service was phenomenal, and the atmosphere was spectacular.

I have been here twice and the food was solid, their array of vegan options is extensive so it was a good place to go with a vegetarian friend. However, I will never be returning. The service when I came here the second time was like something out of a comedy film. We had to ask to have water provided, it took 20 min for the drinks to arrive, the appetizer came immediately but without plates or silverware to eat it with. The worst part by far was that 30 min after ordering our entrees, our seldom seen waitress (the place was mostly empty besides 2 or 3 other tables) returned to the table and asked what we had ordered because they forgot it. Our food eventually came 20 minutes after that, 50 total minutes after ordering. When it came time to pay, I had to hunt down my waitress in order to pay the tab for the “service” I had received. Easily the worst service I have ever experienced which is why I’ve felt compelled to write this review.
