Food was great at first, but I recently visited the fast food and unfortunately had a bad experience. After eating a sandwich, I became very sick and experienced food poisoning symptoms, including vomiting. I hope the restaurant takes this seriously and improves food safety standards. There’s much better options in the area like Tanjawi and Frite merguez

I recently visited this new restaurant on Steinway and ordered a merguez sandwich. The cook initially placed four small sausage links on the grill, which is the standard portion for this dish. However, after glancing over a few times, he inexplicably removed one link and put it back in the fridge, leaving me with only three. This was not just stingy; it fell below what should be a standard serving. To make matters worse, the sandwich was bland and lacked flavor. I've had many merguez sandwiches on Steinway, and this experience was by far the most disappointing. The lack of generosity was both surprising and unprofessional. If I could leave zero stars, I would.
