Slappin Chick is hands down one of the best places to satisfy your craving for amazing chicken! The flavors are bold, the chicken is perfectly crispy, and the sauces take everything to the next level. The service is quick and friendly, and the vibe of the place is super chill. It’s clear they put a lot of love into their food and their customers’ experience. Definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to. Highly recommend!

Carla was very nice and accommodating and walked us through the menu with suggestions. The food was excellent, halal friendly. We chose the Mac bowl with the Slappin spice level. For those of y’all that like spicy I would do the slappin +. We also got the sliders which you can get different flavors and spice levels and they were served with fries and high are seasoned! The fries are yummy and crispy too! Excellent place! Love it here and will be back!

Slapping Chicken is a must-visit for chicken lovers! I tried their chicken sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious – juicy, crispy, and packed with flavor. This was my first time coming here. Since im a regular on Steinway, I’m always looking for good eats. I’m so thankful to walk in and get welcomed by Carla. She introduced the whole menu to me by breaking down the different flavors. To me, customer service is vital especially if I’m gonna be a frequent customer here. And so, she was delightful and warm. I was sold on the mild flavored slider. The first bite was oozing with flavor. And I got a side order of their Cajun fries… it was fresh and hot! I was also appealed by the bright yellow lights also. And I dined in, clean spot! I’d go back, surely !

I don’t understand the hype for this place. The food was really disappointing. The chicken was so bland, it tasted like the only spice they used was chili powder, and even that couldn’t save it. Even the fries were inedible because they were coated with so much chili powder. I expected way better given all the good reviews, but this meal was just a letdown.
