We stopped by on a Friday night after making a last minute reservation for 8pm. We weren't hungry enough for dinner so we thought it was the perfect place for some small bites. The place was full and the ambiance was fun without being too loud. We got the smoked sausage as well as the soppressata sandwich. Both were big portions which I did not expect and was pleasantly surprised. The smoked sausage was very good, its basically cut up hot dog pieces served with crispy bread and a spicy mustard for dipping. The hot dog was juicy and if you love hot dogs you will like this for sure. The sandwich was also delicious. The sopressata was fresh and the side salad made for the perfect refreshing side. Overall we were really blown away by the quality of the ingredients. Next time we will definitely try cleaner items as we were definitely sodium overloaded, but nothing some drinks and water couldn't wash down! Our server was very friendly and attentive, we can't wait to go back!

The Beast next door is pretty in the face but not thick in the waist. Great for late night drinks. Beautiful place with a very friendly and welcoming staff. Food options seem to be the new amazing item you get when your former Pokemon named Lunchable's transforms into something way more complex and special. On our recent visit, our group struggled with one contingent being very hungry wanting to go eat a bigger meal and the half being so hungry they just had to "catch em all". The beer is cold. The place is warm on a hot night and the Ambiance is amazing whether you plan to swipe right, swipe left, or swipe a piece of cheese.

The beast has the best sandwiches in the neighborhood now that Dutch kills is closed. Their bread is super crispy and leaves you wanting more. There aren't many options but the service and drinks are also great.

My tennis class had our last class and a classmate wanted to get together for drinks and apps. Seven of us came to the Beast Next Door, my first time and we all loved it. They were playing pop hits and new wave music and I was in Gen X Heaven. The restaurant reminded me of some elegant dive bars I recall from the 1990s. The service was excellent and the shared charcuterie was scrumptious- prosciutto, mixed cheeses, olives and crispy bread. The prices are good and the vibe is fun times. The music was so nostalgic of my teenage years, I wanted to get up and dance. I look forward to my next visit.
We made a reservation to go on a Friday night but I think a walk in would have been fine. I ordered the oolong express cocktail and ordered the burrata and cheese board for the table. The oolong express was tasty even for someone who doesn't like whiskey cocktails. The other cocktails we got were nothing special. The waiter gave recommendations for the cheese board and we liked the cheeses we got. One thing to note, the board comes with only olives;any other additions would be extra.

Snagged a couple seats at the bar and stared with cocktails. Expertly mixed and delicious drinks. Feasted on a charcuterie board featuring manchego, Stilton, sopresatta, and prosciutto, added on the fig jam and Marcona almonds. All boards come with crostini, olives, and grapes. Everything was so fresh, each bite presenting a new flavor combo. I felt like I was in the scene from Ratatouille (iykyk). Can't wait to come back here! Everyone around us seemed to be having a wonderful time too.
