Nostalgia for the 1980s and 90s. My favorite drinks in order:1. Blueberry cheesecake - only available Tues-Thurs and is a must. Personally I don’t like raspberry but you can’t taste it here.2. Sweet Guilty Pleasure - love the earl grey3. Natsu No Breeze - easy to drink cocktail4. The Most Familiar Stranger - best body with amazing foam cream on top5. Not the Melon you know6. Fun Taiwanese bar/speakeasy located in LIC. You first enter into a restaurant, open the 929 labeled door and greeted with a dimly lit, beautifully decorated bar. Great place for fun drinks. I recalled enjoyed the melon drink. The food was okay, portion sizes were smalls. The braised beef was the best in the menu along with sweet potato fries. 929 is hands down my favorite bar in nyc - the place is cozy and full of personality. The drinks are also simply amazing. I highly recommend Not the Melon You Know and Natsu No Breeze if you are looking for cocktails that are refreshing and sweet (but not too sweet)! I also love their fried platter.
