Grand opening! Not so grand! Freshly painted but pretty much the same look as before closing. The food was flavorless and the service was pretty bad. Everything was a wait from greeting to ordering coffee. You can look at each table and just see disappointment. They were overwhelmed with either not enough staff or staff that didn't have enough experience. Whenever we are visiting relatives in Nassau County, I stop in to Lynbrook Diner for a NY style breakfast. Why is it that no other parts of the country make breakfast potatoes this way? Great omelets.

Beautifully redecorated, the food was good. Unfortunately they do not have enough employees. Service was very, very slow. The menu is limited, not the typical diner. You cannot get breakfast after 11am. I hope they can do better in the coming weeks. If not, they will not survive.
